Most useless gaming accessory ever created every tv already has a tuner on it so don't know why you would pay for something that gives this functionality. if it had pvr would have made sense.

Not every TV has picture in picture which this does have.

Stupid stupid question but is there a satellite dish input on this?

No, only standard aerial. There is no Freesat option for Xbox One and as MS seem to have effectively stopped any further development even for this, I wouldn't bet on it happening...

Can this tuner work on PC?
ST3123 to AG1LL98
21 Oct 16#7
Theoretically it probably could since it's a standard USB connector, though it would need drivers to work like anything on PC and Microsoft don't provide any and probably won't since they seem to have dropped support for this (and never promised PC support). Maybe if it used a standard chipset you 'might' get it to work under some other drivers but it's extremely unlikely...

I tried previously and the PC does nothing at all when it's connected. Tried to set up tuners inside a program and still nothing detected.

Being single tuner and no pvr functionality coming limits this. But good price.

How exactly does this work? Can I get Freeview HD channels?
Anyone know of a cheap place to get the Xbone Media Remote to go with this (the official one)?

This even works while you are playing xbox 360 games via BC, nice little features, nothing better than killing noob's on TF2 on The Orange Box while MP's are being mauled by the audience on question time.

Let's you watch Freeview on your XB1. Needs to be plugged into an aerial.

Does this let you use an external HDD connected to the Xbone to record Freeview programmes on?

Great price. Unfortunately they're not bringing PVR to XB1 which probably explains the price drop.
Still, very happy with mine. Heat.

I bought one as £11.50 was low enough for em to bite. Still really disappointing about Microsoft doing a uturn on the PVR support, wouldn't have been a great deal of work for a company of their size, just comes across as really stingy IMHO. Still nice to have at this price though I don't anticipate it getting much use in my set up as I rarely watch live tv anymore...
