The picture shows a green drive and the description reads:

"Box Contains

1 x Western Digital Green 4 TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (WDBH2D0040HNC-ERSN)"

so it will most definitely be a green drive arriving, even the reviews say a green drive arrives. Still green is fine for me as it's just for storing pictures, music and videos so this is still a great price. Picked up 2 :smiley:

The product page shows I have ordered before and that was the 4tb green, so fingers crossed.

Agree with others, if greens turn up just complain and get a discount or return them. Either way they are already cheap for 4tb.

The reds have a faster timeout as they're intended for a RAID set.
The greens are slower and they park their heads quickly, you can change that to stop the head parking mechanism wearing out.

Well it says they are blues so fingers crossed. Either way my order will be used for my steam library and a backup of my plex data. Either way, nothing lost if the drive is slower or dies eventually.

Blues, green, red, black....at this price I'm not bothered which they send me, as long as amazon don't cancel.

Jumped in on this thinking it was an external drive (that'll teach me to read things properly) will I be able to put an enclosure on it and use it as a external dive via usb or will it need a mains supply?
