Went to buy a bit of WD40 and it scanned at the till at 1p!
Unfortunately I threw away that receipt because I wasn't thinking about posting the deal until today (I bought yesterday Monday 17th Oct). The guy on the till couldn't explain why it was that price so I assume it is national. I can provide the SKU later today when I get home. If you pass a Wilko, try picking one up and see how it scans! I didn't check the 250ml.

This shouldn't be Expired yet, there were quite a few in my Wilko and not sure if this is nationwide or not but it would be great if someone else managed to pop into their local and check!

I'm not 100% sure because I've not used the product you posted but it sounds like the same thing - "multi purpose oil" and all that. To be safe, I wouldn't use it for locks.

How is this the same? I'm not aware of the differences between the spray and the generic oil.
Edited the OP on the related post anyway, feel free to comment on that if I'm still off course.

dry lube works good in vehicle ignition if key sticks on occasion.
What you've posted is basically the same as WD-40 from what I can tell and it will also seize locks for the same reason. I hope you didn't spray it into a lock! Use graphite spray or silicon dry spray.

Wow that's shocking! I'm sure they're not even losing much money if it's just one item from one customer. Also, if it comes up on the till that price then it's clearly legit or their own fault so they should honour it out of good will. Kick up a stink next time!

last time a wilko 1p or similar pennies deal was on here I found it at my local wilko store but the person on the checkout called the manager over and they refused to sell the item and another time different store they wouldn't sell at the scanned 2p or something price but said I could buy it at the previous reduced price of about £1! So I don't think I will waste my time!

You didn't keep the receipt, what if you need to take it back? :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL I made the perhaps foolish assumption of "It's WD-40, what could possibly go wrong?!"
To ease your mind - it did the job of allowing me to open a rusted radiator valve so I definitely do not need to return it
