Cheapest it's ever been! So tempted but can't really justify such an expense for personal use.

Saying you can't justify price is silly. If it makes you happy, doesn't get you into debt, doesn't hurt anyone else then follow your passion/hobby. You've probably spent that much on your phones contract over two years so you can check Facebook anyway lol

How is it silly? This is a frivolous item that provides little compared to the cost. There isn't much I couldn't produce via other methods and I wouldn't be using it for work so it's not an investment. I've owned the same cheap throwaway £20 phone for the past 3 years on pay as you go and I don't use facebook.

Wow this was your deal. Someone posted a 'go on treat yourself' style post and you go to 50,000 ft in a second.
Strange post. Very strange.

Then why post saying you wanted it?? You want the item that had around 400 pound notes off the price but couldn't justify it it? I'm failing to see the retaliation post? I can't justify spending money on takeaways because I can't be arsed to cook, or delivery because I don't want to walk to the shop! You earn your **** you pay your bills then the rest is yours to own, do what makes you happy! How is it frivolous? Do you need Sli 1080s in your PC to get 120 fps on Hearthstone, do you need a 60" 4k Curved Ultra HD Screen to watch Coronation Street, people do things because they can, do you like digital art? Then buy this or stick to the £40 pencil and POS ipad pro, that's all I was saying then someone tells you a loophole to get it slightly cheaper and you moan at them?? Ah well, you win some you lose them....

I think the point is it's silly to say you can't justify it for purely personal reasons, there are plenty personal reasons you could justify it you just don't want to or can't. As a general note I totally agree, if you have the disposable income and it will give you pleasure then you definitely should get it, just because you can make do doesn't mean you should HAVE to make do if you can afford otherwise. Money after all can't be taken with you when you die, so live for today. And on a personal note, having made the move to a surface book, the tablet and pen input scheme really is phenomenal, I've more than derived enough pleasure out of it, and I use it pretty much as a PC attached tablet when I'm at my desk very similar to this.

This device is the gold standard of digital input devices for the graphics and media industry.
Just because you do not have a use, want or need for such a device does not make it frivolous. It simply means this deal isn't for you. It is, however, considerably cheaper than you can normally find it, voted hot. See how this whole 'deal' idea works?

Register as a student on Amazon. There's one of these in the warehouse for a shade under £1200, making it around £970 delivered after the 20% student discount gets applied :-)
