Hi,

If like many people you are having problems with the lift, change the batteries in the car. It's the power of the car which drives the cogs on the car & lift. I'm surprised VTEC haven't mentioned this as there seems to be a lot of unhappy shoppers who've returned this item purely because of this .

They are comparable in size (using the kid in the picture for scale).

As I've mentioned above, I bought this when it was reduced to twice the price it's at now and thought I got a bargain.

This is now priced at £25.

How does it compare to the vtech train set? I already have this.

Is it a similar size?

wouldn't waste your money had go return outs due to a known design fault where the ramp gets stuck. seems like vtech are aware but will not fix it.

Good stuff. Never underestimate the power of a good diversion.

2 x giant Aldi bags and a bit of 'oooh look at that toy over there' and we succeeded :-) altho had lots of questions about what was in the bags on the way home!

Bizarrely, I actually have a photo of my son drooling over this in our local Argos last week, as it was on display - the price on the shelf ticket then was reduced to £37.49
