Is it worth a root and clean of any bloat? For the money and software compatibility it might be a handy second device or for a youngster as an emergency phone..?

I bought my nephews one each when they were £20. It's a really nice looking phone. I love how small it is. They mainly use it to watch YouTube on and to play a few games. Battery life isn't anything to write home about though :disappointed:

This would be hot if the phone wasn't so dreadful. Mine was a complete waste of money.

CEX buy them for £22 unlocked and you can get the codes on ebay for 99p.
£32 voucher for the phone. Not bad at all, I might consider that.

Apps at your fingertips
Thanks to Android 5.1 Lollipop, you can download over 1 million apps from the Google Play Store. So you can enjoy everything from social media favourites like Facebook and Instagram to watching movies and playing games on the go.
Although with that memory you'll need to download them one at a time then remove them.
CS.. Customer service? Don't see why the need. You buy it and that's that. It has 4GB internal storage so yeah it's not a lot but for small apps it'll do. SD card support solves it all anyway.

Not necessarily, whilst you can store your data and music etc on your SD card and port some apps, other apps need to be saved directly to the phones internal storage and with the OS already taking up some of the 4gb, you might have limited space warnings.

yes and no credit to buy using fast track.

I have a HTC Desire 516 which doesn't permit to move apps to the SD card so as such, I had to disable apps that originally came with the phone to make space. System App Remover (needs to be rooted) can remove those apps too if they're not needed.
Yep. Picked mine today and that was that.

as long as you don't have to use a Vodafone sim. seems like a good little second phone

Looking for a first smartphone for my daughter. Any recommendations?
Yes, I'm p!$$ed!, I only bought this on the Weekend (Sunday late Evening just gone!, and collected only on Monday too ... ) for £19.99 as well?!, hmmmmmmmmm. :-(
I may just to get my reimbursement of me £5 man?, I'm glad I didn't buy more than 1 of these? (like I'd originally intended!). :-(
Will get 1 or 2 more at this price (before the price fluctuate's again ..... ) :-)

How could SD card support solve limited internal memory? Been a while since I used android but last I heard was it's only Android 7 that lets you 'absorb' an SD card into internal memory.

Android 6 allows you to use a memory card as internal storage. It helps a great deal (all Chrome downloads go directly to memory card too) but doesn't solve everything as some apps can only be installed to the physical internal storage :disappointed:

But I am pretty sure that this phone has no upgrade to Android 6!

I know. I only mentioned it as another person thought it was Android 7 that introduced the feature.

Don't know if it has been mentioned already, but the phone doesn't have autorotation, so turning the screen lengthways does nothing.
I bought this for my mum yesterday and we found this out today.
God knows why they didn't include this feature. Typing I. portrait mode is really difficult with such a small display.
I managed to download an app that allows manual rotation, but my mum has never had a smart phone before and this certainly hasn't convinced her that the change was a positive move.
