I've seen some very good Lego copies and as with many products whether it's clothing, toys, DVDs/CDs/downloads, food, household etc you get the choice whether to buy the brand or the copy. There are lots of questions such as is it theft? Who does it hurt? I doubt many people will be swayed by the arguments and they'll do what they want. All up to the individual.

I've seen a lot of lepin sets and they look good. The only set I might get from lepin is the super star destroyer as probably the only set I couldn't afford to get as going for 600 plus on ebay

I'd never heard of lepin. crazy. I thought they would be cheaper but unless you're looking at some of the larger sets there isn't much difference. I bought the xwing set on offer at asda for 40 quid. the same lepin version is 65!
just brought lepin my self not paying £200 plus a set for the big stuff it's over priced has been for years but we all still go buy loads of it everyear. I'm a lego addict :smiley:

No doubt someone will post a link of where a fake one can be bought.
Bought from local Shrewsbury store, thanks to the op for posting.

Blocks that are compatible with Lego made in China. Making bricks compatible with Lego is not illegal as long as you make your own sets (think Megabloks, Wilko own brand, poundshop stuff etc) but where it's dodgy is that they copy Lego sets so sell exactly the same product without the Lego branding.

I don't know of any UK based retailers who stock them (remember they break copyright law) however they can probably be found on ebay/amazon. Alternatively, someone has put a link to somewhere above where you can order from overseas. However, remember you are likely to be charged customs and an import charge if you do.

No problem, also, I didnt need to spend £30.01 extra to get the gift card, my receipt was £106 before £20 discount and I still got the £15 gift card so I imagine as long as your pre £20 voucher spend is over £100, then you will still get the gift card.

Personally I suggest taking a screen shot of the terms and conditions and remind them if they don't send it to you: they're usually very good though

I emailed TRU about the voucher, they confirmed it will be emailed before 18 Nov. Therefore I got Millennium Falcon, Geoffrey and a monopoly set for £82 with a further £15 voucher. This was a very good deal, thanks to OP for posting. Gotta love a bargain.
