Prepare for three more massive games to hit The Vault this year – EA Sports™ UFC® 2 and Mirror’s Edge™ Catalyst arrive in November, and Star Wars™ Battlefront™ lands in December
These games joining the already great ea access from November subscription required on Xbox one
I did a search but never seen that on my mobile after I got the email before :/

The previous post just said the games were coming to the Vault before the end of the year, whereas this post has more information in regards to when the games are added

So we need a post when they're announced, when the dates announced and then probably another when they're live?

And another one in case you missed those.

Great times to have the Xbox One, especially with the newer S refresh being so good and EA Access. I'd say it's pretty much as essential as Gold at this point with such a strong games line up, good to see them branching out from their staple sports titles too, hot!

Nfft, my lad paid £16 secondhand in cex for BF with some of his birthday money last month.
I know how you're feeling.

Correct. EA don't even add games every month.

Think It's only a matter of time before ubisoft and activision follow EA's format, really has been the best thing to happen in gaming and wish more publishers would offer a vault and early access.

Yes, we do and that's exactly what happens when all games are released :P
Some people may want to play one or more of those games on a disc now and will need to know when to get rid of the disc

Thanks OP, was just about to buy Catalyst.

Thank you for your valuable contributions to the website, I don't know what we'd do without you.
If you don't know how to run this place well you should keep your comments elsewhere also.

That's understandable and I do agree, but what im saying is we don't need a new thread every time something is added, 1 updated thread is enough. Or just one when all information is available. This is now the third one

Sorry you obviously know how to "run this place" and spend all your time on HUKD.
Unfortunately not all of us have this luxury. I check the app a few times a day and it's the first time I saw this, saving me £20.
Just get on with your life. Let others who have not seen the deal before take advantage of it and stop hating.

I agree that it's better to have everything in one place, however the previous threads were in Misc section, while this is currently in Deals and will get more exposure and hopefully help more people, so I don't mind it in this instance

That's nothing. BF cost me over £120 when it came out (my copy plus copies for each of my kids, I know, FML). We've probably played less than 4 hours total. Man that game is a snore fest. RIP wallet.

Joking? OUCH.
£30 per hour of play.
F**k that, kids today are spoilt rotten, I had to make do with one console/2 cartridges at a time.
Megadrive, built in Sonic n a JAP Ghouls & Ghosts (that I had to carve out the corners of the megadrive slot to fit!). Lol
Tbh, with Ark: Survival Evolved being co-op, BF has been on about 4 times, let alone 4 hours.
Hope ya kids find a cheaper hobby -avoid Skylanders.

HOT! This subscription is better value than Gold membership for me - some great games in and joining the Vault.

EA only makes sports games with the occasional shooter. This service is a ripoff as they are making less and less games every year.

How do people think that subscribing to play older or crappier games us a good idea lol? You do realise that EA only puts games on that are past their sale period and/or are crap.
Battlefront is on hukd for a tenner for consoles, it wont go much if any cheaper. You can get it real cheap on pc for a good while now. ANYONE that wants battlefront or the rest of the games will own them by now surely?
Don't get it done bit.

A lot of misguided, negative comments here.
It's worth remembering that, on top of allowing access to a growing library of games (which appear to be joining the service at a faster rate than ever), this also allows you to try brand new games for up to 10 hours a pop, and actually in advance of their release dates - this has been great in terms of working out whether or not a game has been worth a buy.
Considering you're getting that for £20 a year (even less with some of the deals that appear here), I've found it great value.
Each to their own, but people staunchly arguing something is objectively ****, and backing it up with really bad examples really grinds my gears.

Look EA has barely released anything that isn't a sports game or a shooter in years so if you like having an option of playing FIFA 2014, FIFA 2015, FIFA 2016, Madden 2015, Madden 2016, Madden 2017 etc then fine but dont try to deceive people that its a good deal because its not.

Slight tangent here, but i recently bought an Xbox One S primarily for FH3 (im a PS4 owner) and i really am impressed! I signed up to EA Access to try Battlefield 1 (which is awesome btw) but i cant believe how slow it downloads. Normal Xbox Store downloads run at about 40Mb/s (i have 55Mb broadband) but Battlefield 1 downloaded at about 3Mb/s. Is this because the servers are taking a hammering on this at the monent or is that normal for EA Access?

When downloads start going at snails pace it helps to pause the download and find a demo off the store and start downloading that. If speeds are fast on that you can then pause that and restart your game download and speeds should be back up.

Sorry to ask on the thread but how does this work, is it the same as with gold where if i join for a month and don't renew that when i do renew at a later the those games will become available for me again?
also do you need live to make use of this?
thanks

The games are added to a Vault and as far as I know they won't be removed. As long as you have an active sub you have access to those games. If your sub expires you lose access to those games, but not your save games. Next time you renew you can pick up those games exactly where you left off, as long as they're still available in the Vault
You also get 10% off games from EA via Xbox Live and also early access to games before they'e released.
Apart from the 2 months for £4, does anyone know of any good deals on EA Access, mine just expired last night and would like to renew soon.
