You don't. It just means it's super-concentrated and so can be diluted massively and still protect down to say -10 to -15C.

Cheap it is, but this time of year better off paying a bit more for a good winter screenwash that won't freeze in your water bottle the first sign of frost.

Agree it's fantastic stuff, protects down to -60C neat IIRC, been buying it for years. However my local Lidl never stocked it last winter, so I'm keeping fingers crossed for this winter.

It's been near -30 up North before, was -22 back 2010 when had a bad winter.

They won't formulate it to suit country to country.

While this stuff only protects down to -8C undiluted. Still better than most of the supermarket stuff though. I use this diluted spring to autumn and either undiluted in winter, or the aldi/lidl stuff in extreme winter. Never had trouble with doing this, but the supermarket stuff (concentrated) freezes easily.

It's designed to not freeze when left out overnight during winter in a parked car's washer bottle and to be able to be diluted with tap water.

A lot of the household stuff won't freeze until very low temperatures either, but that tends to be a lot more expensive than this, which works out to be about 35p for the cost of a typical 500ml household glass cleaner spray.

Great price, just remember if you have Fan Jet washers on your car to buy the specific fan jet screenwash (bottom of this link http://quantum.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/products/screen-wash-de-icer/ ). They are normally found on cars with xenon headlights, when they block up from normal screen wash they have a habit of blowing the bumper cap off which is a cheap part to replace but significantly more expensive if they are colour coded and need painting.

Every screenwash is labeled concentrated nowadays but most perform poorly including this one. Always need to look at the small print to check freezing protection levels.

My local factors sell a five litre real concentrated one for £5. When diluted down to same protection as this qx stuff it makes 15 litres & 20 litres of the typical tesco/asda rubbish.

Received order 2 days ago. Bottle had leaked into packaging. Phoned up and was told would have go to local store or send pic in before they would do anything about it. I pointed out that I was unlikely to complain about a purchase of only £3.49 without good reason and was told a replacement would be with me next day. It wasn't. Have now been advised will be delivered before close of business today so have to wait in for a third day. I hope other folks have better luck than I did.

I emailed across a photo as soon as it arrived. ECP replied the next day and said they would send another one out. It was another 24 hours before it was despatched but for £3.50 to have 2 heavy items delivered I can't really complain. Overall it's good service.
