It's that time of year again to start using the tumble dryer again, so here's a cheap condensing kit, it's an add on item so only really worth ordering if you need it to make an order up to £20

Think these are the Qualtex ones without the adaptor mix and should be avoided really bad quality seriously probably why they cant shift them.

The warm air from the tumble dryer vet is directed into a container with a ice pack placed inside. The warm air is blown on top ot the ice pack and is suppose to condense out int water and the air exspelled from the container should be cold. I have now bought a candi condense tumble dryer that works. These kits are rubbish

fitted one to dryer in our house and reduces condensation and fluffy dust by about 70% that's just with cold water in it

Terrible invention. Either stick the vent out the window or have a hole put through the wall, if you're not prepared to do either buy a proper condensing tumble dryer.

I'm so with you on this one. I adore my condenser. how I managed before I will never know. I have to agree that having a regular dryer before and using one of these magic boxes left little to be desired. even popping ice in and opening windows and doors mould still developed eventually. condensers all the way. plus the collected water feeds all my plants. winner

And yes, these do not work. Drill a hole or place it so tube can go out door or window. Or buy a condenser.
I've got a heat pump condenser. It uses hardly any electric compared to the others and dries clothes in about a third of the time as my old condenser.

All the reviews I've read about heat pump dryers, report that they take twice as long as a condenser. I need a new dryer and can't decide which to get.

These do not work. The humid air will still end up condensing where it always has, and the mould will follow.
Vent it to the outside

Hmmm, Few closed minded people posting on here. Evaporator driers are good for garages, where it doesn't matter if moist air is emitted!

depends what you've got in the garage. I don't want any moist air near my classic VWs.
saying that I do have a vented tumble dryer in the garage but I have the hose going out the door when its in use.

If it doesn't matter that moist air is emitted then you don't need one of these kits. And if you did need one of these kits then they don't work so either way a pointless product.

This was my concern. I got a bosch. It's sensor dry. I can put a full load of towels in (2 shower towels, two face towels, two hand towels and a bath mat) from a 1200 spin in my washer and they're dry in around an hour. My old condenser would take 90 min or more to dry the same load. Guess it depends on what you have now. I'd say it's on a par with the drying speed of a vented dryer but using 50% or more less electric.
