I just phoned Three to cancel my current Sim-only contract. I declined all offers they made and eventually they passed me to the cancellations team. I requested my PAC code and then they were throwing all manner of deals at me. The one I settled for was:
- 200 mins (fine if, like me, you never use your minutes)
- Unlimited texts
- Unlimited data
Includes 30gb personal tethering allowance AND Feel At Home, on a one month rolling contract for £11.00 per month!! (Usual cost £26.00 per month)

To those asking for my number - sorry I'm not going to give that out.
The best I can offer to try and give you some clout when negotiating (and prove this isn't just made up for my own weird self-gratification...) is to post a screenshot of my price plan from the Three website.

You get a good contract by threatening to leave, and then they offer you something if they think you are worth keeping.

Been a 3 customer for 10 years, they wouldn't match the deal.
My contract ends in 2 weeks, so after seeing this, rang them up, spoke to the usual upgrade/cancel assistant who chuck out the basic offers, all were no good.
Proceeded with cancellation, finally got a manager in the phone, a very well spoken gent who tried to offer me some good deals. Best he could do was 8GB, unlimited mins and texts for £13 per month, rolling. But no tether, no feel at home package.
I told him I wanted tether and feel at home included (I travel a lot for work) and said the Internet was the important one. I use on average 50 mins a month and near enough no texts, it's all internet and Whatsapp etc. So no good to me.

Just spent 58 minutes on the phone, and went through to the cancellations team to get my PAC code (which they gave me as well - nothing happens if it's not used)... Best I could get, considering I need Feel at Home, tethering and a monthly rolling contract was 8GB, 600 mins, unlimited SMS for £21. Before getting through to the cancellations team, I was offered this for £22.
Funny how the first person you speak to says this is the best they can do, all the plans have been standardised, no special deals etc, then you get through to the cancellations team and suddenly they have a budget for long standing customers.
I was also offered Feel at home, 30GB (incl. tethering), unlimited minutes and SMS on a 12 month contract for £20

Basically I got offered £12 Unlimted data and 200mins about 4 months ago. My brother called up for the same deal and the advisor told him basically told him no deal like that exists.
Eventually we did a 3 way call to prove that I did have such a deal and only then did my brother get the £12 unlimited data deal like me.
So basically if you know someone who has this deal or deal you want then you need to have them on a three way call, then they have no chance of spurting the "no deal exists" crap.
I don't think much people will find success with this tbh but always wirth a shot. And unless you want to leave Three never ask to end your contract as your contract will litterally end, always ask for you PAC code as then you can let the PAC expire and carry on like normal.

You don't have to wait for your pac to expire. The first department you speak to can give you a pac. What you need to do is say you want to cancel your contract. They will try and convince you to simply use the pac they have given but say you don't want to use it and you want to cancel the contract. Then sweet deals are offered.

I'd be very wary of seeing feel at home as a benefit given my experience in the US this past month. I was in Boston, then 2 weeks later Palo Alto / San Francisco / San Jose and every time I tried to use my 3 sim, data access was so slow it was unusable. In each location my work Vodafone sim was perfect, and both were connecting to AT&T. Met another 3 user with exactly the same experience in Palo Alto. 3 customer support could not be less interested.

I have 3x contracts with Three for years and they give me nothing!! Kicked me off the one plan, I've called and called and called. I've ended up getting my PAC then you can never get back to the magical final department that gave it you because they say you have your PAC code so there's no need to transfer you through to them again. I now have to wait for the code to run out and threaten to leave again to get through to the correct department.
Anyone else find it funny when they tell you they are the last port of call and will be the last person you speak with and they can give you the PAC code, then transfer you to another department that says the same but offers you betters deals.

Funny how the first person you speak to says this is the best they can do, all the plans have been standardised, no special deals etc, then you get through to the cancellations team and suddenly they have a budget for long standing customers.
I was also offered Feel at home, 30GB (incl. tethering), unlimited minutes and SMS on a 12 month contract for £20
Eventually we did a 3 way call to prove that I did have such a deal and only then did my brother get the £12 unlimited data deal like me.
This was the problem I had, when I rang up. I use about 30GB+ a month, so they couldn't offer me anything close to this deal.
"""" £11 a month """"
P.S OP wikid deal I pay £1 more for this ninus I get 4GB tetgering - Never use it lol.
Anyone else find it funny when they tell you they are the last port of call and will be the last person you speak with and they can give you the PAC code, then transfer you to another department that says the same but offers you betters deals.
in the end left and took a new contract with them which worked out at £11 month for 30gig after quidco. transferred my old no. to a PAYG and then back to three so kept the same number.
I spoke to them and they have said keep eye on it and let them know.
I came from EE which was much more stable and much higher internet speed in this area. So I'm pretty sure its not my handset
I quoted the ID Mobile £10 'shockproof' deal and they offered me this eventually after I had asked for my PAC. Give them a call and see what they can do
I got shunted off the £12.90 similar deal (without tethering) earlier in the year. Currently on a 4gb plan (unlimited everything else) for £12 and I'm really bumping up to the limits on data.
I'm on the same deal, but with 12gb hotspot for £18/month.
