I understand goty edition is probably better, just posting because it was a cheaper price for this actual game  horses for courses etc

If you've waited this long, go and get the game of the year edition for under a tenner extra. Best dlc i can think of packed with content!

Do yourself a favour and get the complete edition. You'll regret it later when you inevitably drop £20 on the DLC.
That post originated as 16.99, when I looked it was then on Argos as 15.99 so I searched and found nowt then posted this....not sure how that all works

Yeah saw this, just figured this might be easier to get availability wise but that's also great deal

the DLC offers 2 new area's of the map, complete with a new main story and plenty of side quests. You're probably talking another 30/40 extra hour's of content.
I wouldn't bother with either though (unless you maybe plan to pick up the season pass later). GOTY all the way - if I was buying now. 100 hrs in and still to do any of the Hearts of a Stone/Blood and Wine expansion story quests. It just keeps on giving.

Does the DLC provide additional side quests or are they a separate story?

Some are just items which are free anyway but the 2 big ones are AMAZING add dozens of extra hours play & even gives Geralt a nice ending

For £24 I'd suggest the goty edition someone posted from tesco direct. The dlc/expansions are well worth it with this game.
