There doesn't seem to be any good pre order offers on BF1 at the moment :disappointed:

I'm really trying to enjoy this game but an hour into it and I find it really confusing, with the various menus and add this to that to make this and upgrade this to use that, and connect that but first you need to find these two plants. Tell me it gets easier the more you play it someone. Just killed the first griffin, that's where I'm at.

I managed to luck out with the Amazon Vs Tesco "pre-order war" - with BF1 being bought for £37. I imagine I'll play it on Friday... Trade it in to CEX for a small profit around the time when Titanfall 2 (£37) turns up, and then trade that in to CEX around the time when The Last Guardian (£39) turns up (which I will be keeping).
The Last Guardian will most likely be completed around the time of Black Friday, which is when my game purchasing addiction will be going into overdrive... Doom, The Witcher 3...
Did I tell you that Final Fantasy XV (£37) is also on pre-order? Yeah, end of 2016 is looking pretty busy.

Disappointed with this game. Nice story, but the movement / fighting mechanics are nothing short of ridiculous.
I'd say give the pricey GOTY edition a miss and see if you can get the standard version for less.
Thought Fallout 4 was better (even if it was pretty much just a continuation of Fallout 3).

I absolutely loved fallout 3 and new Vegas, but 4 was not only a let down but actually not that good. Had to mod it quite a bit (which I would do regardless) as the base game felt like a downgrade from the older versions. The witcher 3 however, I would honestly say is one of the better games I've ever played, beautiful to look at, nice game play and story.
But I guess each to their own haha

The main problem I had with this game (PS4 version) was the tiny font when picking up items which became a game breaker for me. Unreadable form only a few feet away. I agree the combat was clunky too. Kingdoms of Amalur had much more fluid and enjoyable fighting.

I thought the fighting in KoA was basic at best. Even on the hardest difficulty most enemies could be beaten by button spamming. Those that couldn't... could be beaten by button spamming using an elemental they were weak to, or levelling up a bit, coming back and button spamming them. Loved the Witcher's combat apart from the uselessness of projectile weapons... sniped shot to the head with a crossbow is nerfed to "mild annoyance" rather than the killshot it should be.
