Probably the worst director of the decade, like a comatose Dario Argento. Just turns your tv into one of those mood light things.

You don't understand Refn then! Bronson was an amazing character study. Most of Refn's films have excellent qualities to them, which make them worth watching for me. Sure, they can vary but always something worthwhile. Neon Demon was a bit slow and indulgent, but interesting.

It's a great film. Very distinctive. Although, if you didn't like his last one (Only God Forgives) steer well clear.
