Brewed in Germany by the brewery of Eschwege monastery, this Legendary Duff Beer is a pils wit a “yellow as Homer” robe topped by a fine and persistent white head. On the nose, you will find aromas of malt, cereals, caramel, straw and herbaceous notes.
In the mouth, you will find flavours of cereal, hops and slight fruity notes. This finish is bitter with notes of straw. A beer to taste very cool in its Duff pint while watching your favorite series!

Lidl are selling some lager called Argus (5%) and proclaiming to be 'premium lager' - it appears to be brewed in Romania and is 99p a can. It's almost undrinkable - as are all Lidl own brand beers. Duff is likely brewed in same place.

That's not true. Their festbier is one of the best lagers available @ British markets. The normal Perlenbachen or Graffenwalden are absolutely fine too, better than any pi$$ brewed in Luton.

I'd never even looked into it before (just did) but I think you're right. Initially it all sounds so "Helmsley" and wonderful because of the word purity but when you see how limiting it is... pffft. They should change the law to "You may fanny about with your beer... but not too much."

I am a big fan of the Simpsons, but this beer is horrible, very sweet & goes flat really quickly, the others beers in Lidl & Aldi are all better than this!

Universal shut down an Australian Duff with a legal challenge. There was a big legal battle with the German owners of this one, Universal won a decision with an appeal in the offing, then Universal seem to have acquired it (just looking at Wikipedia), but not sure if this is any sort of licensed product as it is being sold as 'The Legendary Duff Beer', so seems not- and a different logo.
