RIGS was the same for me. Tried the demo the same day I tried Farpoint. It ruined the rest of my day, I've never felt motion sickness like that before. Hopefully it's something your brain can get used to cos I like the idea of the game.

Agree, Vr is something you NEED to try, only way I can describe it, is if you have been lucky enough to go to Disney and Universal studios and ride back to the future ride, simpsons ride, Spiderman or ay other 4D ride.... thats what it feels like ;o) The problem with setting up demos in the Uk is that most of our stores are tiny compared to the same stores in the US, but if they can I think they should. If anything it would boost sales and help customers understand the experience you get in VR!....Ive played all the demos and Batman (which is amazing) tried RIGS but after 5 mins I felt totally sick ;o(............anyone else have the same prob with that game? Im glad I didnt buy it lol

The gun works amazingly well. It looks really crap in real life but as soon as the headset goes on you genuinely feel like your handling a pulse rifle.
Totally agree that these big sites are slightly numbed by VR now, its just a shame Sony didn't push out demo units to lots of stores in the UK like they did in the US as its definetley something you need to try first befor laying down £350 notes.

I've got a fear of sharks, ever since I've watched JAWS lol.....I had to take the headset off halfway through, as I was absolutely **** myself at the size of the shark! It was like being Hopper down in the cage in JAWS!.....I love VR!!

Just got mine today!
Was lucky enough to try out Farpoint at the PSVR tour going round the country and it was mind blowing.

oh wow! that game looks good. Does the gun work well? Hope it's not too expensive when It comes out nest year. I'm looking forward to Robinson which comes out next month. I've found that anyone who hasn't experienced any type of VR, (like myself) have found it mind blowing, but as for the likes of IGN, GAMESPOT people like that who have been able to play these games over a long period of time have made it out like its crap. Anyone who is thinking about buying one needs to watch reviews from joe public on Youtube, to get a real idea what its like ;o) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJsnh3iY5Ws

Nope, most things that were supposed to make you jump I'd already turned to face before it happened. Not sure if I look around a lot, or if watching it on PlayStation access ruined it for me.
Haven't got round to trying it yet, sorry!

Did you not jump when the bloke with a stag's head hit you from behind with an axe, in Here they Lie? Too many jump scares in Rush of blood that aren't needed. I would really like a roller coaster ride with a shooting gallery without the creepy horror.

Wheel. So my G29 would work? Strange to have a wheel used as controller in a game like this

Sorry thought you meant driveclub, I don't know what you actually use in this game

Just set mine up and had half hour on it. As soon as it steps off the screen and into the VR mode it literally blows you away. wasn't expecting it at all. Felt a little nauseated after playing driveclub but I was throwing my head all over like an idiot. Had to take the little one swimming but literally can't wait to get back on it.

Does this one need Move Controllers? Doesn't get great reviews?

Yeah totally agree! I was looking at reviews and ended up ordering from Game on the Thur, arrived on the Friday and im BLOWN AWAY by how good it looks and plays....EVERYTHING ive played so far, all im saying is WOW! WOW, WOW! lol Even the free stuff like the Playroom is amazing. they have a 3D platformer and its great. The sense of scale and being able to move around is fantastic, looking out the window in the van on The Heist.....If you have been lucky enough to go to Universal Studios or Disney and have enjoyed the 3D experiences there like 'Spiderman' and 'Back to the Future' ride....YOU WILL LOVE THIS!.........I'm disappointed at the reviews some of the games have been given....VR worlds is great. Reviews were knocking Scavengers Odyssey but I found it amazing jumping from rock to rock going upside down and staring into space! It's like Metroid Prime in VR......and it never made me sick either. This is what I want all games to look like now. even the 3D movies looked amazing, being able to zoom in and view them in a 3D space. If your on the fence, and you have the cash, ide say take the plunge!

LOL I did that too. Quite odd because the guns weren't touching in the game, but the move controllers were in real life.

yes like others here. I've played it today, while not perfect it's blew me away how good it is. If anyone wants a real scare try the Kitchen.

Might try that next. Find trippy stuff epic, but Here They Lie and Rush of Blood demos weren't remotely scary.

Hi,
Been on it for a few hours and it blows you away at how big that shark is in VR Worlds.I don't normally flintch at horror films but that made me jump back a few times.
I even like watching a Blu-Ray film on it,it's like being at the cinema.
This does look like the future of gaming.
So I just connected up my PS4 with the PSVR and..... the console won't turn on!!!! a quick Google search and it seems like it's the "blue light of death", just my luck :disappointed:
Mine arrived earlier. Just been playing some DRIVECLUB and Arkham. Both amazing!! I just sat there laughing out loud or saying "oh my god" I really wasn't expecting a great deal. But so far blown away by it

Great to hear sir. Mrs said mine arrived earlier. The afternoon at work is dragging already! Can't wait to have a shot. I've had a play with the Samsung gear vr so am keen to see how it compares to that. Cheers for the reply and info, pleased to hear it's good.

amazing, takes a little setting up, you have to re-cable the ps4 and it takes a little adjusting to get the headset in focus . But once you take it on and off a few times you get used to it.
The VR worlds demo with the underwater cage or the london heist with move controllers are mindblowing. It works better than i expected considering they were clunky at best on the ps3.
The sense of being in a virtual world is hard to express in words, and even though there is a graphical downgrade compared to say playing on a tv. Think ps3 graphics on the headset due to it being somewhere between 720p and 1080p i think i read.
Bottom line it's amazing, and i hope it gets the support it deserves for next few years

is this also regular PS4 game or PSVR only?

PSVR only. Without trying to sound like an ass (not my intention), if it says 'PlayStation VR Required' in the blue and white strip across the top you need the headset. If it says 'PSVR Compatible' it means there are bits you can play without it.
