Folk just in time for stockings!!! Terry's chocolate orange could be yours for a measly 99p... cheapest ever in the world... maybe... maybe not but still a decent price. Stock up for Santa

Not only did they change the weight but they taste different. I ate two at once and very different.
I think they have started making them abroad now? Not the same delicious creamy taste they used to be.
Much harder too. Shame.

I agree, had one yesterday, absolute disgraceful, more brittle, less creamy, hardly have to "tap it", and the hollowed out segments are a joke.

Remember they did that story a while back about how differently shaped chocolate with same recipe tastes different? Maybe the case here? Also remember the cost of cocoa has risen. Plus most of these chocolaye oranges are imported from Europe. So prices could of risen 10-20%. Looks like they decided to shrink them instead to compensate. Not such a sweet Brexit.

these will be 50p at a certain supermarket in 3 weeks
Sorry I never went back an entire month to check... so I'd suggest a lot of other people might have missed it... can't believe how petty this site is!!
Honestly beggars belief sorry I never saw your post that's weeks old buddy... maybe chill out a bit eh?

Yes but I think after a month you can repost.

I suspect 99p is Lidl's usual price. The difference is Christmas is coming. Do they stock it all year round?
Some places still sell the 175gr chocolate oranges? They only changed in last month or so from 175gr to 157gr. So maybe paying 1p more elsewhere would be a much better deal. Check the boxes on the shelf and their weights.

These were BOGOF last Christmas in Boots. Worked out at 25p each. 99p seems expensive compared to that. Maybe a pricing error but makes this price seem a lot.

That really was a bargain!
I only buy them when they are on offer and have never seen them less than a £1 in the big supermarkets!

Either British management are anti- British people in general or anti-British workers as what is there not to love your own British people and have them made here since the eaters are British. Moreover , cannot be that carbon neutral to move so heavy stuff all the way from Poland back to UK, pulling out all those green house gases.

£1 is the standard price for these, if you pay more you're just daft. Why is this so hot?

Don't think so unfortunately. Think someone mentioned Superdrug do the dark ones which is good as I'd been looking for them myself.
