It's a switcher not a splitter, really

My one doesn't work with Chromecast and Fire stick, which is what I bought it for, so would recommend doing your own research before buying even if it's only 2 quid.

I have one of these hooked up to gaming monitor, works well with my PS4, Xbox and NowTv boxes.
I paid £8-15 4 years ago. Using 1080p without a problem but check your 4K output specs.

Will have a look for this. My TV has 4 hdmi ports so I could probably run the playstation and dvd through this leaving 3 ports for sky box, firestick and chromecast... should work well.

Does it auto switch or is it manual?

I've got 2 of these devices, both bought off amazon, both had different brand names, i've a feeling this device is made with lots of different brand names attached to it.
Anyway, works fine auto switching/auto detect with hdmi devices connected to it, and if set up correctly works fine with all ports connected. £2 is a bargain, cheapest i bought it for was £3-50 directly from China a few months ago.

Just picked one up from morrisons Tamworth. It wasn't labelled as techwood, it is a mauvi. Label on the shelf said £8, scanned at £2. Bargain.

The title needs to be changed. I paid £37 for the HDMI splitter few weeks ago. It would be awesome deal if it was a HDMI splitter for £2.

These are horrible. Keeps switching to my PS4 when it's not even on. Avoid.

I have one of these which i use for Chromecast and FireTV, as I only have one HDMi port (old TV), it keeps switching to the chromecast if both are left on standby for a while, so I have to manually press the button to go back to fireTV when I want to use it. Other then that, good price for it.

You need a powered one i believe if you are planning to use with ps4 otherwise will keep flickering. Should work with all other devices fine

Have this, only works when i have the fire stick in as it powers it through this. Autoswitches between Xbox/Tele ok but need to manually press for it to switch to/from Firestick
Got a betron too works really well on my second one though first lasted a year before I accidentally stood on it. Second is about 18 months old now and still going strong

I've given heat but just want to add I bought this for my fathers TV. An older flat screen with only one HDMI port and it wouldn't work, nothing going through this connector works fyi

Bought one of these & works with all my devices (Amazon fire, now tv box, etc.) - EXCEPT my Xbox One, which just flickers intermittently. As others have said, make sure you get a powered one if you're looking to switch console inputs.

got two of these but under a different name just recently on NOW TV it's been making every once in a while a brief blip / pitchy sound like interference. with a Blu-ray player the picture once or twice during the movie blacks out for. brief moment. I'm thinking of replacements options and wouldn't go for these again.
