Really? I don't get Nintendo's obsession with "anywhere" gaming. Who suddenly thinks, at work or in a traffic jam... oh I'd love to play on my console right now! Console gaming is for the home!?

ShopTo already has it up for pre-order but it's just a placeholder price.
Flexibility and Nintendo unique games for one, having owned a PS4 and XB1 they do not do anything different to each other (PSVR will offer those who to choose it another selling point however) Thankfully Nintendo offer a bit of diversity and focus on what they do best rather than trying to 1-up each other like Sony and Microsoft.

I imagine the 58 million 3ds owners are probably face palming at your comment!

Considering BC is unlikely, I'm thinking now might be a good time to pick up some of these. I never should've got rid of Treasure Tracker and 3D World, and I'd quite like to replay Wind Waker.

So you completely missed the fact that I very specifically said console gaming right?

I get that and I think Nintendo do an incredible job with the games they create. I wish they would just focus on games and new IP's. I don't get their obsession with "take your console anywhere".

Yes other sites also, I reckon this will be a delayed Xmas present, meaning stock will likely be in very short supply come March, pre order is the way to go I think.

It's guesswork but I think people are very hungry nowadays for console-experiences on the go. The PS Vita was supposed to scratch that itch years ago but that didn't to work out. To some extent, the Nvidia Shield tried to scratch that itch too but it also didn't work out. The Nintendo Switch looks like it offers a better, more seamless experience

PSP also provided a home console experience on the go but that didn't work out too well for Sony either and then with the PSV it didn't work out again. Sony's just not cut out for handheld gaming.

Hope that there'll be a Basic (£299.99) and Premium (£349.99) bundle as gamers have different tastes and sometimes the Basic is enough.

you would think or maybe when they say ' it's a home console first and foremost ' maybe your comment doesn't make quite so much sense.

Imo the vita was an impressive piece of kit. I only got the psp, but I liked that too. However there just wasn't titles for either for them to really work, which is a shame. I would have loved for it to work out. The switch to me seems like it will work better since it should be better than the WiiU (which I skipped due to the cost and low performance) but also be portable. Unless they make it really high in price that is. People pay a lot for their high end smartphones and tablets. While it won't compete with sonys and xboxs latest/upcoming offerings, the fact that it combines the mobile and home market with a unique catalogue seems attractive. I did look at getting a ps4/pro, but there's only a few titles I'd get that I can't get on my PC that I'd want so I figured it wasn't worth it. As long as the switch isn't above £300, I'll consider getting it.

Why isn't Fast Racing Neo included in this offer? It's a Selects title and came out at the same time as the others. I would have bought it and the SteamWorld Collection but as it is I already own the other games and so don't have a second title to buy.

I was thinking the exact same thing, would love to pick both up for £30. They are both selects...
