Mortal Kombat X received its first update in forever on PC yesterday, bringing its status from abandonware back to an actively supported title (happy days!)

Today we are posting a patch that will address the following for all users. The patch will also grant all users access to the Medieval Skin Pack, The Pit environment and the enhanced net code.

• Resolved blockers that could occur if the user disabled the Steam overlay

• Improved auto-configuration- feature now sets v-sync to variable across all set ups to reduce/remove screen tearing and optimize performance
• Improved High and Very High Shadow quality
• Improved black crush
• Fixed King of the Hill spectator view brightness
• Fixed various occurrences that led to an incorrect FPS lock
• Added proper button prompt support for various devices
• Added tool tips to PC Video options menu
• Added Borderless Window Mode
• Removed half-rate adaptive V-sync
• Removed Frame Smoothing option from PC graphics menu
• Removed incorrect and duplicated resolutions
• Fixed various online desyncs
• Fixed various crashes
if you do this you can then pay 7.49 to make it the full XL package on steam

Yes, even better now if you buy the XL pack off Steam it bring it inline with the console versions.

Honestly I had this for the ps4 and sold it after a week. The story is really tedious and every fight is spoilt because the x-ray moves take so damn long and become really repetitive. Also it annoyed me that the main characters were locked so if you do buy go for the all in one. I prefer the old one, mortal kombat komplete

I own it on consoles, so I can't really speak for the PC version. But I personally think it's a great addition to the Mortal Kombat series, admittedly I'm not a hardcore fighting genre gamer, but it's enjoyable.
It scores quite highly on review sites, although the PC version has taken quite a battering on Steam since Warner Bros. announced they had all but abandoned support for it. Fortunately that has all changed recently when it was announced that the PC version was all set to receive support again (as mentioned above).
It's definitely worth £3.79, and if you want the 'komplete' experience, it's probably worth paying the £5.69 for the Premium edition.
