That's what I'm saying I watched the download and install and the disk usage never went over 46GB (I only had 89GB free when I started), steam downloads straight to the destination so an "install" doesn't really happen. Origin on the other hand will download the install files and then run the install to another directory, steam doesn't do this so it never gets close to using 90GB for this install.

Yes I understand that. That's installed. For installation it's asking for 90gb. If you've got the space, you've got the space. In my case I have less than 90gb left, so although the end install is about half that I don't have the space required to install as is. I only posted just to warn people who are a bit low on space.

I've always found steam to be pretty accurate when it comes to telling me how much space it is going to use for the install. I have all DLC and this is what it requires to install. I only have 90GB free so going to download it now and see how much it uses.

Until you want to install it, including all the DLC then it tell you it wants 90gb. Apparently it compresses back down to 55gb after install but I as I said I don't think I've even got 90 spare at the moment.

I just checked on Steam and its wanting 43812MB disk space. 90gb might be a bit of an exaggeration .
