Woohoo! Just had an email from Amazon. £6.99 refund coming my way!

Had a chat with their customer service the other day and they were very unhelpful to say the least. Denied they even had a policy for reimbursing is price changes on pre-orders etc. So a couple of pre-orders I had with them already were cancelled as a result. Was going to return this item on principle but didn't get around to sorting it out this weekend and just had an email confirming a reimbursement of 6.99 to my account due to the price change. /facepalm

managed to get it for £13 even though it scanned at £19 yesterday evening in Hayes.

showed them the ticket as they forgot to update it and they discounted the price. worth a try if you find a copy.

I picked one up in their Huddersfield store today for £13 had one left after I bought mine.

Depends on store; my store has them on the shop floor and they have security stickers that need deactivating by staff at the self service checkout.

Some might be lucky as certain stores may not have finalised the new price so can still get it for the cheaper price

Just got one from Bolton Blackburn Rd. but scanned at £19. Told them that showing as £13 on the shelf and was told they would do it for that but that they have now put the price up. Was going to order from Amazon but that's now showing £19.99.
Still one left on shelf in Bolton.
Asda also doing other 3D blurays st 2 for £12. Got Titanic and Judge Dredd. Not bad for that price

Its scanning at £19 in local asda to my mum (having sent her out to get) as of 1030am (1st Nov). Games desk attendant thought it had been cheaper yesterday but that they had a load of price increases overnight.

Those with amazon orders - just return it and get refund :smiley:. Or go on chat saying you want to return it as you feel ripped off by them. They may have refunded the difference.

Amazon are really cracking down. I had screen shots and a chat log confirming something on a different item and they still wouldn't budge.

Just been to Asda Benton (Newcastle). None out the front, but a woman went out the back and found one for me - apparently 2 left out back. Got the milk the wife forgot earlier too.

acting was very bad imo , and I have to agree with you about a missed opportunity
I loved the 1st 3 films ,( you youngsters will have to understand that in 1977 there was nothing like the special effects , the next 3 was just a joke , didn't even want to think about a mickey luke or Minnie leia

If you preordered beforehand, then kick up a fuss. They have to honour their guarantee. Tell them you will report them to trading standards too.

Watched the 3D at the cinema, and I wasn't blown away, but I have double dipped and brought this!

I'm not keen either, I don't like it when they completely reuse plots. Better to be original and spin a good story.

I watched it the other night. Irrespective of what you think of the film, it's probably the best 3D movie I've seen in terms of visual impact. The effect of an Star Destroyer protruding several feet into my living room was the most memorable.

If you haven't got this already, then this is the best version to go for, even if you haven't got a 3D TV. Amazon are still charging £15 for the original 2 disc version, yet this includes that plus a new commentary and additional extra features (and a 3D copy) for only £13!

I'm in the same boat, but I had a look at their pre-order promise and it mentions if the price drops before or ON release date, so we should be refunded the difference
