I thought I'd have a look in my local HMV store (Newcastle Eldon Square) to see if they had any clearance bargains on their incredibly small Nintendo section and I was pleased to find Star Fox Zero reduced from £29.99 to £14.99. I'd been holding off buying it due to the supposed control issues but I'll happily give it a go at that price for sure. There were a couple of copies left from the look of it, and I'm assuming that this is national where stocked.

I have Star Fox Zero and Star Fox tower defence demos on my Wii U installed since they day they were released. I've tried out SFZ demo again and the controls aren't really that bad, what happens is that it forces gamers to leave their comfort zone and try controls they're not used to. Really hate that the speech dialogues come through the GamePad than the TV because the sound quality is terrible (will have to connect it to some external speakers, I guess).
P.S. I know what their intention was by making the voices be heard through the GamePad - it just doesn't fare too well in reality, imo.

Another HMV deal that I can't get hold of, I have two HMV's within a 50 mile radius and both are on the verge of shutting down, they haven't been properly stocked since Christmas and the only games they sell are recent PS4 games :/

It's a hit-and-miss with HMVs. The one in Romford literally has no Nintendo games at all whereas Oxford's HMV does.

It's available in Oxford too (bought one but won't play it for now). If anyone's going to Oxford to pick up a copy of the game then go early in the morning (it becomes overpopulated during the afternoon).

Did they have Mario Maker for £1.99 there? The one in Oxford had a display case for that price but when asked, the guy told me the actual price is £29.99.
