As with most Lidl and Aldi items it'll be guaranteed for three years so plenty of time to take it back if it does.

Not sure what will go wrong with a shower hose would rather have 6 in my pocket to spend on something else
Rather pay an extra £6 for 3 years warranty as opposed to one so urs is very cold brrrrr

I strongly recommend avoid lidl. I bought tap set about 4?months then it broke. I have to contact Germany's for the warranty. Really bad customer service and take very long to reply. At the end i fed up and bought one from Ikea....

Why not just take back to Lidl. I had a compressor that leaked oil they just gave me money back?

Ugh got mine today but two Washers are missing.. Annoying. Looks good quality otherwise. No plastic screwy bits which are prone to snapping.

Cheers, was wondering if a "side" install like you have would work, looks spot on!
What is the gap between the riser rod and the wall? Can the hand held holder be twisted to a 45° angle from the wall?

Bet this will rust in 6 months. Voted hot because its cheap but longevity is doubtful

Why? Do you have **anything** to back this up other than the price and pulling facts out your a$$?

At the top of the rain shower, no changed the o-ring and the connection part myself didn't help, After 3 years the whole top of the rain shower just broke.

Basically, my locals don't have enough till staff so the chances of finding anyone willing to deal with a return are nil. The till employee didn't want to know and that was after a 20 minute queue.

I have returned a power washer bought in lidl after 2.5 years had to email the manufacturer as the store takes returns after a year outwith that you contact the manufacturer but an email or 2 corresponding with the manufactuer and it was sorted very easy to deal with cannot fault

i had one of these about 6 years ago, it started to leak after about a year and it took about 3 years to finally break completely, mother in law had the same took about 3 years to break completely and started to leak in about a year. i mean its not that expensive if you feel like replacing your shower ever 2 to 3 years.

Where did it leak? Could it just have done with a replacement washer or o-ring?

Yep, you just take it to the till. I've never had a problem returning anything yet.

note. you should not use this with a power shower as its original head and hose are sized as a vent

why? A power shower just delivers water faster.

you ever tried returning anything to aldi or lidl?

We have a similar one that we bought in our local lidl (it has a round rain shower head) and it is still rust free and like new after about 7 years. When we had our bathroom redone the people who came to quote were amazed by how good it was...and how cheap it was.
Definitely recommend this. If it is anywhere near as good as the one we bought back then it will be very sturdy and serve you well for YEARS.

This is rain, not a hailstorm - you don't need much pressure and hence a gravity system should be fine. I suggest you do need the flow rate though, considering the size of the shower head.

Great deal on a stylish shower.

Donnie spot on but it will require the correct minimum pressure **and flow** to make it work.
ozskins
9 Oct 161#12
A little misleading, as ever. The hoses may have an element of Stainless steel but it appears the rest of it may not. As ever do you have a shower and water system to run this? The manufacturer would need to supply you with minimum bar pressure info with flow rates. Suggestion, anyone that cant and does not raises alarm bells.

agree. if you don't have the pressure in your system then the rainfall will be more of a trickle but thanks to the OP
Plus with 3 year guarantee, this is a very good price.

Thanks OP need this. Not been disappointed with Lidl or Aldi wares yet. Will be much better than the recent screw fix moretti junk.

Im not sure. In my shower, I have mounts that hold a pole on the wall that holds the head - very much like on the picture, but without the rain spray obviously. I figure I should be able to take off the existing mounts and replace them with the ones for this without having to drill new holes.
