The purchase have to be at least £10 but I'll probably buy something for £13 in case TCB calculate the cashback on total less VAT

I am still waiting for them to pay out the cashback from the last time - maybe they will be better this time around.
Point to keep in mind is TCB pay out the extra tenner when your previous cashback is confirmed by the merchant - so indeed a long lead time.
