This is bonded leather and will not last if heavily used, there was a scam in America where companies were selling these types of sofa only then after a few months all customers returned to complain their sofa's were falling apart, google Kanes furniture, or simply google bonded leather.

To be fair, it's a bonded leather sofa I need to replace...it's all peeled away and it's only 13 months old...I don't mind too much at this price though, it's a fraction of what I paid for the one I'm replacing....I missed the deal anyway though!

I went to my local sofa warehouse which I didn't know stocked only bonded leather. Very nice looking and cheap sofas (3 piece for 350£ish) but even the salespeople said bonded leather isn't for long term. Their customer base was people on really low budgets or private landlords kitting their homes out to rent.
coconut oil..promise it works on bonded leather!!

we have a bonded leather in conservatory. a little coconut oil if it geys a bit dirty and it comes up looking amazing!!

It doesn't last very long either, most manufacturers advise not to rub any stains or spills on bonded leather as it will come off ! Ive seen a couple of sofa's that are bonded leather, and they looked awful after a few months, all patchy with wear :sunglasses:

Had to google "bonded leather"...... it's actually plastic.
Bonded leather -- sometimes called "reconstituted" leather or just plain "vinyl" -- is not the whole skin of an animal, but left-over pieces of hide blended together to form a seamless piece of leather material.
