£10 is cheaper than ordinary Smirnoff and a packet of extra strong mints :stuck_out_tongue:

Taste is subjective, it must taste OK to some people otherwise they wouldn't sell any. It's a question realistically no one can answer for you, you have to try it yourself.

Its not my thing - its not used with a mixer its to add to Hot Chocolate or have a shot - hubby tried it both ways and likes it but I does taste like mouthwash

I saw this instore. Is half the strength of regular Smirnoff.

No it isn't, this is 30%. Regular smirnoff is 37.5%, like most vodka.

Picked up some in the States last year, it has a really good, clear peppermint flavour. Works really well neat and as a mixer.
Now, if they'd only bring the churros flavour out over here...

The Polish stuff (Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka z Mieta) is £14 for 50cl in my local Sklep and it is 40% proof. It's lovely.

It's 20% abv

Why does the bottle and the ASDA website say 30% ABV then?

Point conceeded. My bottle is 30% though. And the ASDA page linked does say 30%.

Picked up a bottle last week. funny enough, the outer wrapping is also Peppermint infused (your hands smell of peppermint after holding the bottle  )
Another to add to my impressive smirnoff collection. The UK really is rubbish for Smirnoff flavours - there are literally hundreds of flavours in the US, whereas the UK has about 5 :smirk:

Have you tried the espresso or vanilla and the gold cinnamon flavours they are my fave.

Yep have all 3 of those. Picked up a limited edition Red White and berry flavour from the states as well.
They had all sorts including a sorbet range. If the baggage allowance would have allowed, i would've brought a lot more back with me lol

When did you buy your bottle? I saw them in a local Asda a while ago (maybe a couple weeks ago) and then the section with them vanished, and I haven't seen it since. Maybe they were 30% and have been released again as 20%?
It seems unlikely, but I found it odd that they've stopped selling what seems like a christmasy drink (of course, putting it on the shelves this early may have been a mistake and they may have took them off again). I dunno anyway, it just seems odd.

Then explain how marmite exists?
Surely people who say they like marnite are just trolls
Not a bad price for a cheap vodka, good to give to guests. Would never drink it myself, too many premium vodkas out there to buy below average stuff like Smirnoff

the best vodka they have ever done is Lime Vodka - I wish they would leave things alone and stop experimenting

If that's your attitude why don't you live in a cave? Also next time you're ill don't bother going to see your GP, too many experiments were involved.

I know a lot of Asda's will be sampling this on Friday the 11th of November as part of their Christmas campaign if anyone wants to try. I know for a fact that Pentwyn store in Cardiff will be doing it that day. I will put a message on here of the other stores doing it in the South Wales area as soon as i'm told, hopefully that will help someone out!

Got a bottle tonight. 20% abv which I noticed after purchase.
Tastes quite sweet as you'd imagine and not harsh in taste (due to the lower strength).
Wouldn't buy again, but nice enough for a tenner

I don't like Smirnoff at all, I tend to stick with Russian Standard & Grey Goose for the rare tipple I have. But this sounds quite nice to me..
