I loved how hard this game is, but do get how some people didnt like it. It literally punishes you for being rubbish, by making the entire system harder to play each time. However it does make you consider things and change tactics with each approach. By the end of the game you are still massively overpowered, and the last boss in the game is just ridiculously bad.

I didn't enjoy this at all, felt like you were getting ambushed every 2 minutes by enemies that get harder to beat when they kill you. Seems a pretty stupid concept to me and the very antithesis of what adaptable difficulty should be.
