Product Overview
This Samsung model has a 7kg drum, so it’s perfect for a medium sized household. Using ecoBubble technology, this machine injects air into the detergent to create bubbles that penetrate into fabrics fast – meaning you get a deep clean at lower temperatures. For even better stain removal, select the Stain Away setting which adds an extra wash phase to your cycle – giving you spotless results. For those days when you’re in a rush, there’s a brilliant 15 minute quick wash, so you can refresh a P.E kit in no time.

Got the 10kg version for £429 with code from Currys about 3 weeks ago, fantastic machine, top brand (Samsung), fast, sleek, plays little musical tunes, and 10 yr warranty. amazing, this is a good deal for the slightly snaller version

This one has wash noise level of 61 dB, which is significantly higher than others in this class. Hence I give it a miss.

I've had this machine for a month now, it's brilliant and not noisy at all. Really impressed with it

Good price but only 7kg. If you put more clothes, the ball bearings will break. Don't know if warranty covers that. I have seen so many lost cost washing machines break down due to overloading that now have 12kg one.

Thanks for posting this, best price out of all the previous deals and seems to be a popular and well-reviewed model. 5 year warranty is a bonus (don't forget to register!).
Quidco also offering 5% for all Samsung washing machines, and Nationwide credit card owners can get 1% cashback as well

Love how several under 18 year olds have somehow managed to purchase a new washing machine. I'm a 22 year old and I can't think of anyone my age or younger who has bought one yet!
Think most are saving for somewhere to put the washing machine!

Depends what you spend ur money on I suppose. I bought my first house at 21 (31 now), then again I left school at 15 for a structural engineer apprenticeship rather than continue with education and debt like everyone else my age seemed to do. :man::stuck_out_tongue:

Have two of these. Worth it just for the musical tune it plays when the wash is complete. Heat

My 2 year Bosch doing same and my previous Bosch was still perfect at 8 years old, only reason I got new one was for 15 min quick wash feature. Wish I kept old one as they are so cheaply made now !

I had mine delivered by AO and installed.... they didn't take out the big grey bolts so made loads of noise... AO refused to send anyone out even tho it was a day old and Samsung came out instead... they removed the bolts and the machine is so quiet... AO customer services are rubbish

Yes of course but still knocks its nuts off on spin even if I have a 7kg load or 1 towel. We had a Hoover before this and it was nice and quiet apart from it rusting around the door as it needed a new seal. As above we wished we kept it.

Word of warning folks. I spent £700 on a Samsung Washer Dryer and have had engineers out 9 times.
Its impossible to balance on a solid concrete floor and sounds like its going to explode constantly.
I also bought a new Fridge Freezer from them for £750 and it arrived dented. The second one had to be condemned because it wouldn't freeze and the help desk told me for both devices "turn it on and off"
Samsung has by miles the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Don't buy a Samsung tumble dryer on the strength of how good their washing machines are, by the way
They are the worst brand you can buy. Actually the Japanese/Korean companies make expensive rubbish in the Tumble Dryer section. Panasonic are atrocious too

they might make decent machines but if anything goes wrong and you have to deal with Samsung customer service...god help you!

I agree. I'm hanging onto my 18-yr old Bosch WFF1401 machine for as long as I possibly can. Yes it's probably not as energy/water efficient as newer models, and yes it hasn't got loads of fancy bells and whistles like newer models do, but I've only ever needed to change the inlet valve and motor brushes. Almost every bit of it is easily replaceable and serviceable.

Our Samsung ecobubble washer/dryer has been very reliable. We've had it 4 years and it still runs extremely quietly. It is much quieter than anything we've ever owned before. Ours takes 8Kg of washing or 5Kg of drying and spins at 1400RPM. It's only when it is spinning at full whack or slowing down that you really notice it is running.

Even 10 years ago things, property was much more affordable than it is today, particularly in my area. I agree that in some areas it is still very possible to get property after just a couple of years of saving. But by and large if you're chasing a professional career then it's not possible in London and the South East to purchase without any parental or family support/you'll be waiting a good 5-7 years of saving.

London/south east is a world on its own for property. 10 yr ago mortgages were 6-7% rates at best and here in north of Scotland the norm was to offer 15-20% OVER the asking price. Today you can get a mortgage at 2-3% rates and houses are selling 10-15% under the already lowered asking prices. and where I am specifically, the market is flooded with new builds which had a knock on effect of lowering existing house prices.
Going waay off topic here now but for any aspiring youngster hoping for a career in London, I'd suggest starting out elsewhere, gaining experience then applying for a job in the city afterwards - employers tend to then give you relocation bonuses to assist moving to the city rather than try to do it before earning the big bucks and before having any equity to play with. A friend of mine did this starting at Shell in Aberdeen before moving to Accenture in London.
