This is an amazing cake - had a slice this evening and ended up finishing the whole cake, which probably wasn't a good idea... (2000 calories!!)

I had it with a touch of vanilla ice cream, which went down well!

Has anyone else ever noticed how the majority of hot deals for food on this site are nearly always fatty, sugary ****? I'm no toothpick but it does interest me.

Is it not too sickly sweet? often find with chocolate cake its too sweet.

To be honest, it is slightly on the sweet side. I sunk mine down with a couple of cups of coffee and it went down well.. Reduced the sweetness a bit
