I'd personally wait. Capcom games always go on sale on PSN, this will drop further in future sales, look at 5 & 6. Unless you're one of the rare people not to have played it yet :smiley:

For those who haven't played the game, this is a must have as it is genuinely one of the best games ive ever played.

stranger stranger! Bought! Awesome playing tbis on the vita but need to switch to the console during some of the promting scenes when y out are running away and need to press 2 buttons to survive!

Got it on the Gamecube on release day and XBox 360 on a sale, don't think I'll bother with this

Have they updated the controls for PS4 so that you can walk with left stick and aim with right (at the same time)? Found it very hard to complete everything with just one stick. Great game though.

Loved it on the wii - without those controls is might not be as good. Still - if you have not played it this is a must have for that price.

Granted, the game itself is great (the bit in the prison area with that indestructible monster, just hearing its wheezing is enough to give you nightmares), but at its core it is still a GameCube game. And the Wii version I am sure is still the best simply because at least that version brought a new experience with it, rather than a new coat of paint.

The website's very temperamental. i've tried using my debit card and my paypal account no joy.

I just called PlayStation and the problem is caused by a break in the network and thinks there's an issue with the payment so it blocks the account for 72 hours. NB. the 72 hours restarts after every failed attempt to pay. Apparently the block can't be removed they suggest buying a PlayStation money voucher (kmt) so that's what i did. Hope this helps.

Get REmake and REZero instead for the price of this. This is the game that started the series into the crappy mess it is now. Too much action, not enough atmosphere.

I'm not much of a gamer but this is definitely in my top 3 games of all time, the controls on the Wii made it

One of the few games I ever completed, and I thought it was fantastic all the way through on the PS3, I think.(I only switch on a console for a quick go on PES, and find most games dully after twenty minutes).

It's a bit dismissive to suggest this isn't worthy of anyone's time because the Wii version is better. Even if it is (which is entirely subjective, though I understand the Wii controls were superb), consider this:

- people who don't own a Wii
- people who've never played RE4 before
- people who played previously on a non-Wii console and fancy a bit of polished nostalgia, that still holds up by today's standards

I'm not usually a Resident Evil fan but I played this one from start to finish in like 2 days which is unusual for me, good game. I really enjoyed it on the Wii.

This was epic on the Wii, I hooked it up to a projector and still have nightmares.

Well had it before on the 360 too, and on that they kept it the same as the Gamecube basically.
I believe R trigger was aim, and big green button B was shoot, with L stick to look while aiming.

On PS4, you press L2 to aim, R stick to look and R2 to shoot, so much better control IMHO.
Remember though, in this game you can't walk and aim at same time, that only started in 6 I believe.
