I'd be OK with that too. Never played much of the first one, always meant to. Announcing a sequel would give me the impetus to finish the first.
Really, it's Rockstar, no matter what they announce I'm going to be excited for it... as long as it's not Table Tennis 2 or an online only Red Dead game (They did register a Red Dead Online domain, but I reckon it would release alongside a single player game, like GTA V / GTA Online). But let's face, it's 99% likely this will be a new Red Dead game.

Best game by Rockstar, Game does not dissapoint in any way! GTAV was great and were the previous GTA's, but theres something quite magical in the gameplay and story of RDR.

To be fair, the first one really wasn't all that much to do with them. It was originally developed by a Capcom studio which Rockstar bought and allowed to finish making their game. Redemption was really their first effort as they made it from the ground up, rather than finishing someone else's game. I do agree though, I was hoping for a title along the lines of Red Dead Revenge / Revolution. My only complaint is I wish they had announced it for release in 6 weeks. It would be a bold strategy, but if there is one AAA studio who could release a game 6 weeks after announcing it and building no hype, it would be Rockstar.

The ending sorta sucked. :disappointed: It's not what I or others would've wanted. :disappointed:
The gameplay of Revolver is a lot like Redemption and it's also a western, plus, an R* game so the signs are all there that they improved upon its predecessor. RDR1 doesn't get the popularity it should as it's been left in the past.
