Combat in ReCore is fun and accessible, but also deep. Defeat your enemies—including massive boss creatures—with creative tactics, split-second timing, and by unleashing your Corebots’ unique abilities. Craft components to customize your Corebots to create your perfect battle party, and then share your creations with other gamers online.

No, you need the digital version if you want to play it on PC - the physical disk version only works on Xbox One.

I've quite enjoyed it. I got it for 20 quid on release. Yeah it has some issues but overall there are a lot of good ideas here which could be polished up into a great sequel. The characters are really likeable also.

i was looking at this game earlier this morning and also when it first came out, good thing i waited until now as they have released a new patch which should fix some of the initial issues. also £5 off from tcb so makes this now worth the play. great find!

Good price, have some heat. Will give the trial a go and see if this is worth a punt. I'll probably still hold out though, with Gears coming out next week there's time for this to drop in time for a little christmas present (possibly to myself)

It's well worth playing. It can get a little repetitive towards the end, but overall there's some great fun on offer here.

As I said previously on the demo thread, I've been playing it for the past couple of days. It's very much got a Borderlands style art look to it, with the puzzle elements of the Tomb Raider games (to an extent). There was a lot of talk about the performance issues on the Xbox One version that are actually quite noticeable (load times are horrendous and the frame rate is one of the worst I've seen recently). There was a 5GB patch released yesterday that addressed some of these issues, but if I'm honest, they didn't work miracles.
That said, I am throughly enjoying playing it and genuinely think it's a really good game for what it is. Granted I only paid £4.85, but I would recommend at £20.
