Best price I have found both of these at. The 300g bags are £1.90 in Asda. I made sure to stock the freezer up.

I'd challenge you both if I felt so inclined, there is an element of truth to this cutting down ones "foot print" - but, Quorn are still using products like eggs, which are a major part of the meat industry - so it isn't that much of a step away as one would like to think.
Regarding fat though, fat isn't an evil within itself, what a person should be concerned about is the link between meat eating and a whole range of common diseases, which we know far more about now, than we did even a few short years ago. If you want to be healthy you really should think about cutting right back on meat products or better still, eliminating them altogether.
Whole food, plant based, non-processed eating, is the way to go. It is affordable, cheaper than the average diet, and will resolve many common ailments. Fact.

Yup ridiculous marketing, they know some meat eaters like Quorn and I guess they wouldn't mind getting more onboard. We've all be done over with the 'unlimited data' marketing on broadband etc so this is no different.
Marketing people love two things:
1. Oxymorons
2. Morons
That's how they make money.

Some in America complained of stomach discomfort, but nothing otherwise.
You're right, it's quite bland but that means it's perfect to use in sauces or to cook with in general. Salted, its nice, I like to roast cumin seeds and crush them up, ad a touch of sugar and lots of black pepper and then cook the lot in some vegetable oil. When done (a few mins), add a touch of BBQ marinade or sauce and grated cheese and chopped red chili, put it in a wrap and bake for 7-8 mins at 200c and eat hot.

No health issues. The only "issue" is some FUD spread by CSPI, who are paid by Quorns biggest competitor (Garden Burger).

Great deal! Brilliant way to improve your environmental footprint and cut down on fat.

actually these are 2.5% fat, chicken breasts are 2%
An alternative right there for those of us who also steer clear of eggs ^
Surprised to not find any "tastes like cardboard" comments yet.

Chicken breast is 4% fat but you're likely to cook that in some oil whereas these are dropped into a sauce to cook so these would be leaner if that's what you're bothered about.
There is a vegan version of these too incidentally.
I have never bothered tasting cardboard so won't offer any opinion on that.
