oh please avoid this kettle, like others say it burns as u attempt to pour had it only a few weeks an the handle is 'loose' it moves around looks good but its really bad

Have to agree with the comments about this kettle being awful. My gf's parents had one. Took forever to boil even when not full, noisy, steam burns you as you pour unless you get the angle right. Thankfully, it begun to leak after a few months so it was replaced with something different.
Cold for me, even if it was half the price. You get what you pay for.

I have this kettle and it's rubbish, it's VERY noisy, slow to boil and filling it up is a nightmare as the handle gets in the way.

I got this when it was £8, i have to pour it at a really awkward angle so the steam doesn't burn my fingers.

Get a non electric kettle had ours for about ten years ,stainless steel and cost about £10.
No failure of the element and cords and it whistles.

I have had this kettle before. it is very noisy and takes ages to boil. looks nice but it's rubbish.
