well, you obviously don't, as the Sale of Goods Act no longer exists, it is now the Consumer Rights Act :stuck_out_tongue:

I assume when they say 'team' they actually mean email box, where it will be picked up probably by their colleague sitting in front of them.

Absolutely scorching deal with the 3 year peace of mind
Unless i had my previous PS4 with the JL 3 year warranty, I would have gone for it right now

Beg your pardon. It's a guarantee, slight variation but more of a firm commitment. I will update.

Looks like the console guarantee is 2 years, and 3 years for the game!?
The link above is for mobile page which is a bit ambiguous.

Good luck quoting that in the court and trying to prove that the fault is a manufacturer fault while i go just to my local John Lewis store and get it replaced  A warranty is meant for peace of mind

JL price matched the Smyths offer of the PS4 Slim, BF1 and an extra controller for £249.99 for me. This is also a really good deal if you don't need the extra controller.

Good price though ps4 pro is launched soon. They have a page for the pro at £349.95 with a 2YR guarantee. Personally still can't see a £349 launch price.

£12.50 more and you can have a choice of FIFA too as well as a second pad at Smyths

Ordered, thanks OP! The two year warranty was the main attraction as mine is going back to Amazon this week after nearly 11 months. Controller and Console are both on the blink. Heat added.

OK so I'm gonna say this again for 2nd day running..... How the hell was a deal voted near cold for £259 that had the ps4 slim 500gb, Spare controller, fifa steel book And special edition steelbook Fifa 17.... Shakes head.... Sorry just had to share.

A few reasons maybe.
- Maybe people who voted value Battlefield 1 over Fifa 17.
- John Lewis 2 year guarantee offers peace of mind.
- People maybe don't need a second controller.
- Maybe people have £240 but not £260 or have budgeted £250 max.
Just thinking of possibles.

He may not be up to date but still good advice... And if you've paid by credit card they'll give you your money back and sort the company in question for their payment....

I was just thinking of ordering this from Tesco for £228 but maybe the extra 1 year guarantee is worth a tenner extra.
