Ofc, or a game costing you about a fiver. (Free if used tesco clubcard for food voucher).

This could be 5% quidco rather than 3.5% too as there is a higher offer with the PS4/mafia/FIFA deal so may track higher due to that.

As you basically paying £40 for Mafia 3, which is a shoddy bug fest..

Heat for the price firstly. Personally I'd rather pay that little bit more and get the pro. Regardless if you own a 4K TV or not. Least your guaranteed almost to have 1080p 60fps.
As of the games, good selection. Playing mafia at the moment. Awesome story, great music and loving the 60s feel. Repetitive missions and not as personalised, customisable as before. Mafia series had great attention to detail and this sadly doesn't. Regardless still loving it, but it should be better. I am about 4 hours in.

Sainsbury's deal much better.

i have just ordered this and it came to £239 with ps4 slim 500gb, fifa 17 and an extra ds controller. there is an option for bundle items under the ps4 slim that gives you this price when you click on it.

i wasn't sure if it was worth paying the extra £20 to get the mafia 3 also as mentioned above.

Also had £9 in vouchers... Cool as I very rarely shop at Tesco theses days.

I bought the PS4 a few weeks ago in the £150 deals that were going. Is it worth getting rid of that and upgrading to the ps4 slim? Hard drive is the same in both. I don't find the phat ps4 particularly noisy either.

In same situation with Sainsburys. Pretty much same deal but with Mafia 3 for 40 (which sells for 32 at Cex) so only really an extra 8 quid. Think I might go for this.

Tried this once. Got shafted because I was trying to return a console with the wrong serial number. It's fine with games because there is no individual identifier but all consoles and controllers have unique serial numbers.

​you sign up to quidco on their website and then whenever you order anything online just go to quidco first, type the merchant in the search box e.g. tesco and it will tell you if they give you any cashback. if they do click through the link on the quidco website and it will take you to the merchants website and you just order as normal. quidco will then give you some money back depending on how much percentage it states which changes all the time. it is particularly good for buying expensive items as you can make get quite a bit of money back.

if you go onto tesco website just type in ps4 console in search box. then select bundles under the item and choose the one with ps3 slim 500gb, fifa 17 and ds controller and add to basket. then type mafia 3 ps4 in search box and add that to basket. it should discount everything automatically for you to £259.

Does anyone think we'll see any better than this before xmas? Flogging the games to cex and using a voucher or 2 and I'm looking at a slim 500gb ps4 and a controller for £190. My wallet is sweating bullets this morning

Black Friday was pretty tame for console deals last year . sure a week or 2 before Christmas was better

Can't help and think Sony are really trying to shift hardware, with the Pro coming too I think slim deals might die down a bit but again This is just my opinion

Not necessarily. In the past has been a simple live chat (although live chat not been working recently) stating there is a code and bought within the last 28 days and can they apply it to my order and refund back to card. Not guaranteed but you dont lose anything from asking.

price has gone up but I rang up and complained that I had been charged £273 after pressing the "pay now" button and they eventually refunded £14 to bringing it back down to £259.

they have put controller price back up to 49.00 that's why the price has increased to 277.00

if I buy it and ask them to refund, can I cancel the order if they don't?

I clicked the link and there was a bundle showing the usual, slim, Fifa and pad (not the v2 or camo one) for £239, think it's gone now though, think it was a glitch. The camo controller is probs worth more though and overall, including £9 quidco and club card points (£10 I think) it's a really good deal regardless.

Collected today and cracking performance by Yodel as they didn't 'deliver' the games alleging that there was no one available and they 'carded' the recipient!!!! Yeah because of course there is no one at Tesco available to take receipt of them, luckily Tesco knew how ridiculous this was and just gave me the games from the shop floor but proves how dodgy Yodel are with their tracking status updates!

I'm sure it says the whole bundle has to be returned if returning any item. I've seen this with many retailers. It should say it in it's and c' if you can be bothered.

Tesco have the best service out of all of these retailers with the deals going on (not sure about Amazon though). I had a cancelled order with Very, Game, Argos.... through tesco I've gotten the older xbox one deal next day, a new tv and I've just had confirmation on the PS4 slim deal, ready at 3 today. Instore is a different matter though, staff tend to be lazy as f**k, good service overall though.

Just placed order for all of the items for £271. Would have been £261 if the code didn't keep telling me make sure all items are sold by Tesco (which they are).

So contacted customer services asking them to manually process the £10 deduction.

Will see how it goes.

It was the £10 of £40 spend listed on HUKD vouchers section. Customer service confirmed its for furnishings only and that games count as electricals so doesn't work with them

EDIT: quick update, it appears the games are now in short supply not the controllers. My console and controller is 'confirmed' and ready to dispatch but the games are still in 'created' status :disappointed:

I picked mine up today and it was the version with the DLC bonus, but I'm guessing this is dependent on stock.

​So I went into tesco to return the fifa 17 and mafia 3 and after having to show my email order the assistant said this was bought as part of a promotion and wasn't sure about giving me the full money back so she made a phone call to someone who said I would only be getting back £28 for both game. I said no thanks and went to CEX and traded them both in getting £64 cash.
Also on another note I managed to get a fifa 17 and a ps4 v2 controller completely free which i may be selling off as I now have 3 controllers. so selling off the 3 games and 1 controller i should get back £131.00.
This way the ps4 slim console with 2 controllers will have cost me around £130 only

​you are better off selling them to cex as I did put mine on ebay but the most they are selling for is around the £30/£35 mark and once you consider the p&p and ebay fees then its not worth it. better off getting £32 each from cex without the extra work.

Nearest Cex is 25 miles away... Cheaper for me to eBay them. Also the £1 final value fee running yesterday and today means it isn't so bad.

I sold mine on a local Facebook settling site. £35 and they guy collected. Everyone's a winner :laughing:
