This deal is similar to the one a couple of weeks ago you order it and then they will cancel the order as they have no stock left of the Consoles themselves. Even if you do click and collect as like me there was no email to say cannot fulfil order I turned up for my items at a local store to be told they were sold out and told to do one .Was not happy lodged a complaint which came to nothing thanks Sainsbury's exemplary customer service.

Sainsbury's are useless. Their systems are archaic. Basically all stock comes from stores, not from a central DC. Therefore they have no way of telling whether there is any stock until the day of the pickup/delivery where the store gets a printout of your order, go to pick it and find there is no stock. However, I complained as I was given 3 hours notice that my pickup was cancelled and I ended up getting the £20 new customer discount plus a further £20 for the inconvenience added to a gift card and posted to me.

It finally worked for me, changed the delivery to friday. £225 in total(£6 for delivery)

It didn't have the deal with the controller when I ordered it yesterday, it was just the ps4 with FIFA for £239 but since I was able to use my nectar points and got £50 off it was better than anywhere else for me personally at £189.

it did not work for me on Chrome but good old INTERNET EXPLORER WORKED, just start with Fifa 17 then console then pad, use different email to set up NEW ACCOUNT and get extra 20 pound of when use E-VOUCHER --- SCSEXSVCP.

worked eventually. The way it worked for me.

1. I clicked log in/register to register and chek if they deliver to my postcode
2. Then I picked delivery time slot
3. Then I went to multi deals: added ps4 and fifa from there
4. Added blue controller separately through search
5. checked out with code- 1 pound friday delivery so 220 altogether.

I have got one ps4 from these massive deals and its only 2 weeks old but by the looks of it, it's already getting replaced by the slim one (if it arrives):smiley: thanks a lot!!

The new PS4 Pro won't have UHD player like Xbox One S does though it can stream 4k content from the likes of Netflix, Youtube etc. If you need a console that plays 4k blu ray discs then xbox one s is the only option as of now apart from a dedicated 4k blu ray player which will cost you more.

Might be difficult for you but I sold a brand new playstation 4 last week for £50 profit. Took 2 minutes to order the PS4, 2 minutes to list it on gumtree and 2 minutes to take a call from a guy who came to get it.

There was none on the shelf, so guy in tech dept went and got one from back to scan as I queried price due to online offer and it came to £259 console only.

you can amend orders up until 11pm the night before, i have a 8-9pm slot booked but it could run out of stock before then, the orders with early booking will be processed first i think regardless of whether you ordered early or recently.
just going to let it ride was going to re-order for collection 8am Friday but will take a chance on Home delivery.....

The tesco deal with mafia 3 is pretty much the same deal if it helps. You get £32 from cex for mafia 3 and £9 quidco making the overall price £218.

will not be honoured the C.S. said over the phone. They got an alert from the same people that was asking if this was a misprice/glitch. Delivery will still take place but at the regular price, you can cancel then wait a month before we get the money back

yeah as soon as you press to move to checkout it takes the controller out of the basket and the price shoots up

Phoned customer services, explained the deal and asked if they thought it likely that I get the ps4 tomorrow. The agent called the store for me who confirmed no ps4s were in stock and it was likely I would get the controller and FIFA at full price as this would cause the deal to no longer be valid. He advised me to amend the delivery slot to a later date and call the store to check on stock and hold it over for me if they get stock in between now and tomorrow, couldn't get a definite answer on stock replenishment for games. Not convinced, just missed the tesco deal as well...

I will be mightily annoyed if that is the case, if the driver turns up without the console tomorrow, he can **** off!

I got a similar message, but I was told that they pick the item early on the day of he delivery. So I'm not convinced...

Placed a successful order a few days ago for Friday evening delivery. Gone back in tonight to make a change (turn off substitutes) and it flags up that the console and game are "no longer part of this promotion". I tried click and collect but no joy. I tried changing delivery date, same result. So I decided to cancel the whole thing. Not amused :disappointed:

Looks like they're treating this as a grocery shop. I've not used Sainsburys before but Tesco text to confirm the slot and only at the point of delivery do you get notified of substitutions or missing items (the latter of which almost never happens with Tesco).

So a text is a step in the right direction, but no guarantee that it will all arrive and the deal will be honoured. I suppose we'll find out when the first deliveries arrive tomorrow

£30 is still ok for hassle free buying (I personally would pay £5 more and go with amazon. if the controller stops functioning, amazon CS is better than flubit imo - everyone has their own experiences).
If you want hassle, then buy a bundle and sell the bundle minus DS4 pad and just keep it

Tesco are doing a 500gb PS4 with Fifa 17 and an extra controller for £249, add Mafia 3 for an extra £20, so basically £269 for PS4 500gb, extra controller, Fifa 17 and Mafia 3. not too bad to be honest, but not as good as they £150 deals the last few weeks :disappointed:

Just went in store to see if I could blag the deal after getting the cancellation text. They didn't have the controller in stock so they sold me the lot for £221 and then refunded me £44.99 for the missing controller. In total £176 for the console and fifa 17!

Cut a long story short they would not give it me through same price do to the overheads of the in store prices and online prices and told me to ring customer services online. Dont know if this will help; mine was also cancelled due to "out of stock". It was Click & Collect. However went in store today and asked if my specific order was in stock and it was so I simply ordered it and then disputed the price to which she took £20 to make it £219 for 500gb PS4 Slim, Fifa 17 and a Blue Controller.

Additionally, customer service lady was lovely and delt with the problem all for me, she didn't question, literally no resistance! Brilliant service in the end!

Just spoke to a nice Irish fella at Sainsburys, he did check my local delivery store and they don't have stock. They will be getting them back in stock but the promotion won't be on any longer by the time they do. I theorised with him that Sainsburys made a mistake on the website and the easiest way for them to get out of it would be to cancel everyone's orders. He wasn't aware that people were having some success with going to the click and collect stores armed with the order confirmation.

I had a console ordered to pickup Friday night, but looking at my gaming pile of shame and then an unexpected tax bill, decided to cancel.

I actually don't think the games for the PS4 are all that, with GTA V and The Last of Us occupying the top spots on Metacritic both being available the generation before anyway. I was curious about playing FIFA again, tempted by the Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid, but watching some YouTube reviews I was bored before the review even finished.

I'll stick with my Wii U for now, lots of great games and let's hope for some actual originality with the mysterious NX console....

I went in today and first checked that they had stock of all three items, and explained the situation to the team on the electrical/entertainment desk. Useless bunch, like talking to a brick wall. It was a struggle to even explain I wanted to buy all three items at once, and for them to give me a price. Saved my energy, went back to the customer service desk and asked to speak to a manager. He came and was really helpful, he actually bothered to listen. He offered to put them through the till as per the original order (£219). Excellent CS from him. Great watching him put the minions to task ha.

It's not advertised anywhere even in-store, But it is £239 still for all three, he just gave me the £20 off in-store as goodwill discount to match the online order on the till to make it £219.

I basically done the same things as you. Originally i was meant to collect Saturday morning but wasn't going to leave it to chance. I went into store checked they had all the items in stock explained the situation to the manager and they honoured my confirmation email price. Very pleased!

They had the products in store but refused to give them me as the deal was an error online.
Anyway after intense negotiation it appeared that Console, Fifa and Controller was scanning at 239 at the checkout anyway. They gave me 18 quid off for the online new customer promotion as a goodwill gesture.

I called to complain after they cancelled my order. Said it was an online error and everyone's order got cancelled. I said I wasn't happy and what compensation is in place. They kindly declined to offer anything but took the feedback onboard and apologied again. Some got good will gestures and I didn't, not too pleased.

Went into my local store asked for him to put a ps4 console fifa 17 and a control pad all through the till. It came back at £239.99. He was amazed, i also got 20 off as well as i explained and showed him my email.

asked them for the £20 discount but the staff said it's online only so didn't really bother too much.

Looks like the 239 in store works if you bundle fifa, console and extra controller. They wouldn't honour my £20 online code though.
