Incredibly cheap IR remote control for the PS4. Works well for DVD / Blu Ray, Netflix, Amazon and Media Player, though not for iPlayer. Thought it might be a misprice or no stock, but mine arrived this morning.

Sometimes these devices come with a basic usb-bluetooth adaptor, so you see them pictured with a little widget but you don't necessarily need it.

I know bud. I use Anynet on my Samsung but it is nowhere near good enough. Sky go app it's useless.

If you use HDMI Link then you can control your PS4 with your TV's remote control. The only problem is there's no PS button so you cannot exit out of apps but it works enough to make it useful for Streaming to a PS4 from a laptop etc.

Yes sorry that's what I meant. I use the tv remote to navigate through the PS4 menu, can run games with it and can turn the console off with it too. Unsure why you can't!

Sorry, I wasn't quite clear here. I can navigate (up, down, left, right) on the Blu ray menu (i.e to select play or scene selection) but I cannot navigate the Playstation menu (i.e to choose to play the blu ray in the first place, or choose media files to play). so I still need to use the PS4 controller to start off the process of watching something, then switch to the TV remote.

Enable HDMI Link and you'll very likely be able to use your own TV remote instead of having to buy a separate one.

Wish they just remade the Official PS3 Bluetooth remote for the PS4...

In the meantime I use my Sony TV remote for play/pause/skip but doesn't let me navigate menus, which is a pain.

I have a cheap Polaroid smart tv and I can easily navigate through menus using my tv remote. Why a Sony tv shouldn't be able to do this?
