Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game Of The Year (GOTY) PS4

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delivers a dynamic game environment where the player orchestrates their personal plan of vengeance as they bend Mordor to their will. The game begins on the night of Sauron’s return to Mordor, as his Black Captains brutally execute the Rangers of the Black Gate. Players become Talion, a ranger who loses his family and everything he holds dear, only to be returned from death by a mysterious spirit of vengeance. Based on the player’s actions with the in-game Nemesis System, every enemy encountered is distinct and can evolve to become a personal archenemy through the course of the game. As Talion’s personal vendetta unfolds, players uncover the mystery of the spirit that compels him, discover the origin of the Rings of Power and confront the ultimate nemesis.

See I know if I buy this it'll never get played because I haven't even made a start on Witcher 3 yet and by the time I'm done with that I'll be moving on to bigger and better games.

I'm in a similar position. I usually avoid playing RPGs until they've been patched up a bit and now seems the right time. I was holding out for PS4 Pro support but since this has now been excluded I really need to start playing it.

this is an absolutely fantastic deal. i was lucky enough to pick this up for £3 for GOTY on PC and 20 hours in and only 50% complete. so much content and a very rewarding combat system

This is a great game. I get the sense that the original protagonist was supposed to be Aragorn, and they changed it for some reason. In any case, it's challenging, but once you learn the finesse, the combat flows beautifully.

It took me four days to finish this game. It was on the fourth day that I got the hang of it. I done all the collectables and the main story. While I did enjoy it at the end, the ending feels so abrupt.

Have to agree with you, found the ending to be disappointing but the game itself was great fun and defo worth a go at that price if your not sure! heat :sunglasses:

Granted I haven't played it for a substantial amount of time, it just feels a bit alien to me at the moment.

I'll try sit down and give it a good few hours and try get into it properly.

I have bought this game and I find it all a bit disjointed. Controls and movement feel clunky, world is quite dark and find the fighting quite repetitive. Smash, smash, smash, block, smash.

I'm obviously missing something with this as it doesn't seem the game for me, but it's rated elsewhere and it's still a great deal for the price.

looks like you only played for a small time, once you open new skills etc it plays differently and later on you need to use strategy to defeat enemies, also it has a number of hub worlds which look different and are not as dark as the first

Loved this game,played it through then got rid due to limited content on the vanilla release, been waiting for a decent price on the GOTY Edition so i could get it again and now i got one! Thanks, have some heat!!:laughing:
