This has long been discontinued from ASDA. Will be lucky to get one, best chance if they've been shoved out the back and forgotten about for well over a year.

I picked up 5 (yes I needed that many) from a leeds store I have a friend in the back who confirmed they were in stock for me when he worked his night shift so I went in the following morning.

X-mas/B-day prezzies are sorted now and kept one for myself just picked up world of final fantasy to play on it.

I'm amazed the staff haven't nabbed them all to sell for a profit on eBay.

Sony wanted to make their own proprietary memory cards to overcharge people. They did the same exact thing back then on the PSP days. PSP can now use an adapter on the memory card slot to use SD Cards.

And no, "most" SD Cards are not fake. There's a lot of genuine ones, you can get fakes if you actually want to but they're not worth it.

Well the reason they use their own format (apart from making money) is they get to reduce piracy and they can control speeds of what they make, so developers can optimise their game for one speed. Most SD cards are fake, they're slow and if people were left to buying them, Sony would get tons of complaints their games aren't running right.

Paid £74 recently for a second-hand one, still the most powerful hand-held on the market, beautiful system..such lovely games.

The new PSvita is better, but this is still a great price, I've still got my two, but be careful about buying these as the battery will be shot by now sitting around for years.

My Asda removed their games console counter and it has been replaced with a board that you can buy PS+ cards on instead.. I used to like looking at the consoles.

Crap. CeX pumped the price from £50 to £78 too and 16GB went from £25 to £30 so not too much of an increase.

​got my 64gb off ebay a couple of years back for about £70. its more than enough for average use, i probably have about 40 games installed with room to spare.

lets be honest though all you really need is persona 4 golden and peace walker though :smile:
