it really is worth spending the extra on the new PES. I'm still playing 16 as I've got a league to finish off before I start on 17. its getting tiresome as the passing on 16 is so stiff, seems to always go to the wrong man, passing out of central defence it'll often bypass the midfield and the centre forward will run back for it from offside. also tackling gets frustrating as you'll win the ball, the opponent player will fall over and then your player stumbles over the opponent's fallen carcass and then he'll lose control of the ball, the opponent then gets up and retains control of the ball. it's been this way since they changed the engine to the fox engine, collision detection is awful. whereas in pes 17 these annoyances are far less frequent.

Haha I like it. Football games are pretty much all I play so might shell out up to £25 for pes 2017 this time...I briefly had 2016 and agree with the post above the goalkeepers and too many goals spoiled it.
Football games drop in price so much once out of date, but from the demo I think pes 2017 is worth it this year. I only ever buy a yr old fifa as it's very little difference.

This is an awful game having owned it, the shocking goal keepers and refs make it unplayable for me. Don't waste the money, put it towers the new pes which is the best football game I've ever played

Have to agree, the keepers are miles better this year, just frustrating in 2016. I still lose all the time though! :smirk:

Don't bother with the PC version, they used the old game engine for it and it's the same with the 2017 version.

Yes. I've ordered before without having to rent anything or subscribe.

I made an account a while back just to buy. HAD to enter card details for free trial. Cancelled it. Boomerang kept all of my card details just to have them stolen by hackers and money subsequently taken stolen my account. Never any warning or apology from Boomerang and no reason to have kept my card details.

Tempted to get this again at this price and get 2017 next year...have been playing Fifa a year behind the last few years.
Pes 2017 is better but for how often I get to play this might be better option.

I'm still playing pes2015, I keep looking on ebay for 2016 but don't want to pay more than £1 (opening bid) because I'm tight
