Heard awful reviews on this, anyone had any personal experience with the psvr

Yes the tech is really good and the experiences are very immersive. I sold mine because:
- I got motion sickness from RIGS and Driveclub
- to help with motion sickness I was recommended that I play for a short while everyday for 2 weeks to develop my "VR legs". I have limited time to game and putting myself through daily sickness to be able to enjoy VR isn't my idea of entertainment
- the few games that I bought were fun but more like experiences so I spent quite a bit of money on stuff which I'd never play again and only use to demo the vr to others
- cinematic mode was a huge disappointment. It was like sitting at a 720p cinema, but in the front row. Plus it kept drifting and to watch when one episode I had to keep recentering the screen every minute
- I hid all the wires so at the front was only the usb and the headset itself. Despite that I still didn't like the long wire stretching across the room whilst it was in use, and when it was off I still had to disconnect the headset and put it in a cupboard
- limited titles available at the moment and nothing I fancied in the pipeline.
It's something I'd definitely consider getting again but not at least for another year so that the price can be more reasonable and there's more titles available- and the current ones priced better
Like I say the games and experience was incredible for simpler games and my best advice to anyone considering is to find somewhere to try it before you buy. Really enjoyed Alumette, Playroom, London Heist, Job Simulator but my favourite was Wayward Sky which actually took me by surprise

GAME is charging for demo, is there any where else that has demo available?

Soon this thing will be £200 on eBay as everyone realises there is nothing to play on it. Then this time next year Sony will be pushing this thing hard to compete against Scorpio and you'll see it for £250 and £180 Black Friday sales...
Might as well wait to see if any good games ever come to it.

Lol plenty of decent games already and more on the way. Psvr is brilliant and I was as sceptical as anyone before it launched.

i ordered this yesterday. got the confirmation and was due to be delivered tomorrow but I just decided to phone them now and cancel my order as wasn't sure I would use it much and its a bit steep in costing about £80 more than my ps4 slim with 2 controllers and 2 games put together and that's just the cost of the headset never mind the camera and games and all the rest. So they might have one in stock if anyone wants to give them a call. Could've made £15 profit if traded at CEX but didn't think of that before
