Just spotted this on Amazon, this kit usually goes for £99.99 with the remote control it's currently on for £74.99 CamelCamelCamel shows the lowest price it's been is £90.99 so seems like a bargain to me!

I've set my kit up and ordered a couple more Bayonet bulbs I love them! Expensive trip down the home automation rabbit hole.

Been looking at these kits for so long. I then get a price alert and then remember that I've got about five different types of light fitting throughout the house and it starts getting daft rapidly.
Bizarre that a motion sensor is only coming out now, far more logical than apps and timers.

sounds good to me I was going to buy a phillips light alarm clock to wake me up naturally but edging towards this now. it's so hard for me to get up for work at 4:30 in the winter maybe this will help?????

I've just had an email from Amazon that it has been dispatched so looks like they have stock now despite what they say on the product page.

Yes, its a 'deal' but a 'hot deal'? No. I'd say luke warm
By the way I love Hue, in fact my home is full of them so don't think that I am trying to put anyone off buying this - If you think its a good price then of course go for it!

Hub £50, Bulbs £25 x 2, Remote £20 = £120, this is £75, it is a good deal whether you like it or not
They must have stock now btw, mine is coming on Monday

how can your point still stand, this is 25% of the standard selling price, this makes it a 'deal'. Other people agree is a deal as this thread has created heat which for a Philips Hue thread is quite surprising.

ok I stand corrected, but my point still stands, this is not a great deal. Colour ambience is a massive difference to white. This is not.

Massive difference between the White light and the Ambiance Light.

not much differnece to be honest, which is why price is almost the same

It used to be £59.99 for the the starter pack and then £20 for the dimmer switch, so its not much of a saving. FYI its same price at Argos. If your in no rush i'd wait for Argos to do home discounts codes such as HOME10, HOME20 or HOME25, these work on all hue bulbs

The White Ambiance starter kit's have never been £59.99, that's the pack with white only bulbs, this pack has the bulbs that can change colour temperature.

Considering the bridge is £50 and the Dimmer is £20 on its own this is a bargain. Finally caved and bought to work with Alexa.
