We can't evaluate deals just because the price will go down over time... specially assumptions based on Black Friday. It's the cheapest at the moment, very close to the cheapest ever in Amazon (according to CamelCamel) - if you disagree that's fine, but it seems that most people don't.

I know this doesn't help now but it was £49.99 in Tesco a few months ago, could drop again.Personally still think £74.99 is a good price. I bought one, much prefer it to the actifry because it doesn't bash the chips up! Cook all sorts in it.

Love the airfryer, it's a good price but i agree with amarone82, i got it last blackfriday for 49.99. Surprised to here that tesco had it for that price, gutted i missed it!

I got it last black Friday. and is the hardest working machine in our kitchen. I am cooking many things there. fries, all sorts. mushrooms nuggets, breaded fish. prawns. heating up bakery stuff. small pizzas. everything is getting ready faster than in oven. cos you don't need to wait till reach the right t. there is one minus, that basket is very difficult to clean.

Can't wait another month? The point is is this worth 160 degrees of heat for a hot deal- no it isn't - but as a side issue this machine is fantastic, we researched at time of buying and we are so glad we didn't go for another make.

Just search for air fryer - the Tower one may have only 161 reviews but it still has an excellent rating - or there is the Duronic with 1100+ reviews, although that one is £60

We have this one - (I forget how much I paid - I'd say ~ £75!) - It's fab - cooks frozen chips much quicker than using the oven, plus makes "healthy" proper chips from real potatoes too...

No... It's the opposite, they don't take ages to get up-to temperature like an oven does and they're focused cooking all around the product, bottom tops and sides (at least the Philips Airfryer is). We've had ours for about two years now and use it most days... The oven is redundant apart from for bigger items that don't fit in the airfryer.... My advice? Buy one you won't regret it....

I have the digital version of this and I wouldn't be without it now. Everything from chicken to fish in breadcrumbs is perfectly cooked.... In around half the normal time.

I paid £50 for mine, and I'm probably one of the few people that don't rate it. it doesn't really do anything that a fan oven doesn't, and takes up quite a lot of space. yes it cooks quickly but for chips you have to take them out and shake them every 5 minutes or it just burns the top ones.

We love ours, sadly it works too well with unhealthy stuff like cocktail sausages etc. Even the cheap tesco frozen party sausage rolls taste great :-) Pack of 50 for £1 and the machine cooks 25 at a time. I'm now the fattest I've ever been.

If you search for this fryer on this site you will find its been cheaper in the last few months so even if not on Black Friday this is still not a good deal now 258 degrees can't believe who's voting

Depending on the size of it you microwave the potato first (after puncturing the potato) on full power (4-7 mins), then you whack the air fryer on full power and bung it in there.... A minimum 10 mins in my experience is good, but anything up to 30 mins makes it more crispy/brown....
Don't forget to turn the potato halfway through it's airfryer "experience"!!

I also bought mine from tesco for £49.99 at christmas. I agree with the previous comment - they are massive for what they do, you can't get much in them - maybe enough for two portions of chips and you could do the same thing in the oven. Good idea, just maybe better for people who have a rubbish oven at home and someone that likes gadgets

Agreed. Good for single oven-less people. Doesn't really perform 'magic' like many of the product reviews. Making meal for 2 I've found myself constantly tending to it (stirring, flipping, etc every few minutes) whilst cooking - only to have to repeat the process over again to produce a meal for 2.
Time-wise and cleanup, most of the time it's easier to use a non-stick broiling pan - be sensible and trim excess fat from beforehand and/or use a drip tray.

This model was also £50 in currys at one point too.
I highly rate it, I eat a lot of chicken and this is a much quick way to cook it when I'm in a rush on my lunch break.
Also great for sweet potato fries/chips.
I'd wait for Black Friday again, this will be £50 again and the new model <£80 I would imagine.
