i have the leagoo shark bought from gearbest pre-sale for £70, its now about £130. I've had a few things pre-sale from them and none are cheaper now eg pipo x8, Timmy m13, homtom ht17, teclast tablets, if your prepared to wait it looks a decent spec.
This is fantastic spec for the money apart from the battery. The Ulefone has over 6000mah battery. I do not understand why manufacturer s don't charge a bit more and put a higher spec battery in and create a perfect phone.Nearly all phones have something that let's them down.
Does anyone else have experience of Oukitel make phones?

Or at least sell a case which has a battery built in so that people can opt for a larger battery if they need it!
iPhone has loads of battery cases it's a shame they aren't more widely available although i appreciate it may not be commerically viable for lesser known phones with less customers.

Good luck using Gearbest.

Another thing I would add to that is a reasonably good camera - most of them in these phones are terrible to barely passable (except in some of the better Xiaomi models).

I recently had a very bad experience. People like you keep on recommending their products without even trying them. I hope they don't pay you posting their stuff here

would say there are some better phones for the price, take a look at the Xiaomi redmi series or maybe even the elephone r9. think even some of the new Umi phones would offer better value for money and certainly a better battery

Umi Super is a beast of a device, have that currently (from Gearbest) and price right now is fantastic as umi have just launched the Umi Plus, which doesn't seem like much of an upgrade to me.

Not sure if you are talking from experience or have just heard a few scare stories? I've bought plenty of devices from Gearbest and had no problems.

Fact check before you're blinded by lovely looking specs: It's a Chinese phone. The Chinese Government are well known for using technology to monitor their citizens (look up "WeChat" as a prime example). Secondly, chucking a few decent specs in a phone, does not automatically equal a decent phone.

Nfc or no nfc, more important are preloaded viruses. I would not buy anything from Gearbest until I know it's not preloaded with viruses, pups and trozan horses

you forgot the complete absence of after sales service so just pray it doesnt get a fault as you might as well put it in the bin.

I would recommend the elephone p9000 really good. And it comes with marshmallow with absolutely no bloatware. Also next month getting upgraded to nougat

I have just looked at this phone and it looks really good! However Android Pay isn't supported and has been a known issue since launch so its just as bad as not having NFC :disappointed:. I did see they are adding Android 7 next month, if that fixes it I will buy one.

Its a pre-sale so nobody can possibly know that. My Xiaomi Redmi note 2 came from gearbest without any malware.

Battery is the most important thing I think got op3 some weeks ago it's a brilliant phone and battery charges as quickly as my Mrs asks me to take her to shops but I still think ost could have been better with a 330£ worth phone

Ridiculous battery capacity for such a phone. They must think they can get away with this because of improvements in battery life with Android 6.0/7.
Has a whiff of profiteering to me, another reason to avoid methinks.
You'd be better off spending a couple of quid more and getting a better brand like Xiaomi, even if just for the updates. Forget about the specs. Do you really need 4GB of ram anyway?

I was considering going for this but agree the battery capacity is too low. Which Xiaomi phone would you recommend and is it best to get it from Aliexpress?

i think its most probably because oukitel are known for their 10,000, 6,000 and 4,000 mah models. their new 10,000 mah model is due soon, this is most probably their smallest size battery and therefore phone with this spec. if you want a good battery wait for the soon to be released k10000s.

I have bought around 5 phones from gearbest with no issues but tried 2 pre sales and both were not in stock when pre sale ended. One went 4 weeks after and still not in stock. Took weeks to get refund. I would not send them money for a pre sale again.

Ships from Dec 3rd even from HK, even though stating 100 in stock. Double check before buying unless you are willing to wait.

I think they do need to make it much clearer that this is a presale item, as the shipment date can easily be missed thus causing potential problems. Waiting 6 weeks before shipment, personally seems like too much of a long time.
In terms of the device itself, I'm surprised by the lack of Hotknot. It's rather standard with Chinese devices now a days, as its considerably cheaper to add compared to NFC. Bigger battery would have also been nice, especially after the success if the K4000 pro.

Fulfilled by Amazon £110, so benefit of sending it back if there is a problem. If you order from China you might get it for £10 less...
