It did that to me earlier also. Clear your cookies and go to the gearbest website and search for the product. Flick over to GBP and then it normally changes price to say "flash sale".

Does this automatically track your sleep or does it need switching to sleep track mode manually ?
RJL to TylerDurdenUK
3 Oct 162#9
It auto tracks.
The display has four options (datetime/steps/heart rate/battery percentage)
My battery lasts around 23/25 days, but since turning off the 'raise' options which shows the time on every hand raise, the battery has gone down to 63% in 14 days, so better performance now.
It's a great tool, I had the 1 then 1s before, the are great and durable for the price, but each band is to ones taste and requirements from it.

Automatically tracks it.
These are very good but only problem is the heart rate monitor is not very accurate, reading constantly jumps about, but for sleep , steps, alarm and phone notifications it works really well

because the 'branded' ones are vastly overpriced, it's only a little battery and a bit of circuitry when it comes down to it.
Look at a new iPhone, £600-700 and probably costs £30 to actually make. There not the richest company for anything

Fully charged mine on the 30th August and not charged since and it's still on 42 but I don't use mine for alarms, it's just used as a watch for the time and for the tracking of both sleep and activity.
Some will use it for activity and alarm and the lack of movement alerts which will drain the battery more but in general the battery on this thing is the best by an absolute mile!
There is also an "official global" version soon to be released which is about £1 more from Geekbuying. Major difference is English instructions (!) and a non-Chinese server which makes for better usage (suppose that it depends on whether or not you allow it to contact the server).
Anyway, nice kit but it looks like my daughter has lost this one as well (1 x original, 1 x "S" and now this.......).

Any integration with Sony Lifelog?
How come this lasts weeks without needing to charge, yet the Sony bands don't last 3 days? Same with their ps4 controllers.

4 Oct 16#23
This is a great piece of kit. It even tracks mileage at a fairly accurate rate.
One major drawback I found: mine lost bluetooth pairing with the phone and I have not been able to get it to re-pair.
Apparently it is a well known issue (having to do with the proprietry pairing xiaomi use) affecting all xiaomi bands.
If anyone has figured a way around this please post!

I got one of these a few weeks ago at a similar price and it is good for the cash. It is definitely a good way to keep the pressure on for hitting steps, I also love the notification buzz for alarms, messages and calls.
The heart rate monitor however is nigh on useless. The app nor the device itself offer continuous monitoring for the likes of sports. Worse still it struggles to get a reading if you try to use when moving. I am yet to get anything other than a failed reading pop up when I try to use during exercise. Some people who have managed to get a reading say that it is also limited to a max of 110BPM.
When wearing during sleep I seemed to wake up far more than usual. Not sure if that is because I don't normally wear anything on my wrists at night, or the light of the optical HR scanner kicking in, but I have given up on that function for the moment. When I did use it the app didn't really give you any indication whether you were doing OK or not so only good for tracking comparatively IMHO.
The battery life is excellent, the app is decent and the build quality is really good for the price. Just don't expect to have a Fitbit HR for 1/4 the cost and you will be pleased with the purchase.

Bought this a week ago, arrived 3 days later (even though I opted for chinese shipping, it seemed to be sent from the UK) and i honestly cannot fault it. The default app is excellent and the customisation options are brill.
- auto on when you lift your wrist to see the time
- vibrate alert for alarms, calls, notifications etc
- accurate tracking of steps/cals etc
- heart rate monitor is a little iffy, but good enough for a general idea
- sleep tracking (or lack thereof with an 18 month old) works a treat
for a little over £20 I really can't complain and it saves forking out £80-100 for an overpriced "branded" option

For me works well. Test have shown most of these bands are innacurrate on steps, but its good for keeping you motivated. The algorithm means for example that if you are cutting the lawn it wont record the steps because your arms aren't moving back and forth. The sleep tracking, even with the auto 15 minute heart rate tracker, for me overestimates how long I have been asleep, sometime by more than an hour. Until something much better comes along in the market, this will do me fine. I also like the bluetooth unlock feature which is a lot easier than the finger print option on my Note. Great value at this price.

I still can't see what makes this better than the 1s? From my point of view the 1s wasn't actually an upgrade on the original Mi Band as the heart rate sensor was rubbish and the LEDs on my original can show different colours depending on the app producing the notification.
I wonder what's higher. The affiliate income hotukdeals will get from this deal or the cost to Gearbest from the 13p reduction per item.

seems to do a pretty good job with the heart rare and steps, although not 100% accurate as others say.
only disconnected once so far and a quick bluetooth off and on seemed to fix it. she has literally not taken it off so far and had it on in bath etc. She's set it up to give txt, call, and whatsapp notifications (vibrate). you cannot read the messages, it just makes you aware of them. all in all for around £20 (with a bit of cashback) you cant argue.

the app for the windows phone is 3rd party, but the guy keep adding new features every month and for me is very good, what you need to do to update the firmware of the watch with original Xiaomi app for IOS or ANDROID for more accurate step counting and etc. then use the windows app Bind MI Band, if you buy the pro version which is about £2 you get access to all old data and you have sleep tracking functions, also counting calories burn , distance , steps and etc. very useful watch for under 25£
They're MADE IN CHINA!! Order direct from China and you can find loads of sellers of similar to this, not same make but do exactly the same. I got my daughter one for £7 and I thought that was over the odds! Free post too! I wish I hadn't got it for her 'cos all I here every day is the massive number of steps she's taken each day at work. So there you have it, it might be only 20 to 30 quid but you're being ripped off! Wake up!
