picked mine up today. its a good little camera with obvious limitations as people have highlighted. Vodafone store was empty so was quick service and the manager even wanted to buy it off me. did not believe how low the price was. he said these were brought in to be sold with a phone package previously and stores kept adding more stock accidentally so they over stocked on them

I'm interested if anyone's thinking of returning theirs depending on what the reason be.

This is a great little camera. I bought it in south America when it was first released a fee years ago.

I sold it on eBay earlier this year and it was delivered damaged by royal mail and they refused to take responsibility for it.

I've tried to repair it myself but the lens part alone costs £70 which is ridiculous.

I have the full kit live view watch and accessories too. I will definitely pick this up again if it comes up for £50.

No to sky tv box. Potentially on the Amazon Fire Stick. The source needs to be Android compatible. I have a Firestick and have Aptoide on it so you should be able to download Sony PlayMemories onto it, navigating around the app maybe difficult though, unless you install the cursor for Firestick

Looks like the code is now 50% off the cheapest item when you buy 2 or more accessories, if you add any other cheaper accessory with the cam it takes half off that item.

The code works if you add a second........probably a website issue.

I'm impressed, decent little thing. Linked up to my phone no problem, played videos back and they're decent quality.

Even managed to link it up to my Sony Android TV. If you download Aptoide TV store to your TV, you can then download the Sony PlayMemories App on your TV.

Once linked up you can have your TV as a viewfinder, but even better, you can playback the media currently on the camera through your TV wirelessly or transfer it.

the worst website of the year few years in a row has to be vodafone, its back in stock can still apply discount but the payment fails over and over again tried different cards.

There isnt one, hence all the reviews say its useless underwater. Check youtube videos, theyre all completely blurred once underwater. Ive been trying since friday to cancel my order. Vodafone are an absolute joke.

I bought an Apple dock off them a few years back and swore blind I'd never buy from them again.

Every time I tried to call to ask where it was (the website never sent a confirmation either) they asked me for my mobile number and couldn't get their heads around the fact I'd purchased an accessory without being a PAYG or pay monthly customer. Eventually resolved after getting a credit card dispute raised, and it transpired they'd delivered to a local store rather than my address (they weren't sure why in store), but hadn't put any contact details on the package.

Ok, my advice to all. There is one or 2 each at stores and due to the reason systems are configured the last stock is never displayed on website

No actual credit check takes place. That's a screen as part of the Vodafone buying process, obviously for if you are taking a contract. The process is skipped if there is no credit being applied for, as in this case.

The £249+ quoted was prob with live view which is bleh .. wide view so general point and shoot works well - can livestream to phone app for view shot if needed

Well impulse HUKD buy foiled by Vodafone website payment processing being crappy. Showed as in stock key in your payment data for one off payment then it freezes for 30 secs whilst it does an a credit check. Good news you passed your credit check but bad news your product is now out of stock as it took us so long.

I bought Victsing 4k wifi action cam from amazon for 55 in lightning deal and the footage on that even on 1080p is much better compared to this sony as seen on youtube, its a clone of gopro action camera. But for this price you simply cannot go wrong with the Sony.

My Sony AS100V stopped working after i spent about £100 on accessories for a camera worth £250 ( When i picket it up ) wanted to buy this so i could re-use the live view remote at least. but then again i could do with one less gadget. Will try to repair the one i have if i can as it is anyway out of warranty.
