Back in stock at BT Shop. You have to use the specific link (which is from their newsletter) to get this price, which includes a £20 discount. If you just go on their website it is listed at £169.99.
Delivery is £3.49 but you should be able to cover that with 2% Quidco.
Looks like currently only in stock at nvidia (£169.99), Amazon (£169.99) and Scan (£179.99), so this is cheapest around. Apparently they go out of stock quickly and evidently Amazon have decided to increase their price rather than sell it at their usual price of £149.99.

Ok, there's a few mad statements in here so hopefully this helps clear things up. I've got two of these (one for each of my boys):
1. It runs marshmallow and it's a straightforward over the air update to get it
2. They're very fast tablets with great battery life
3. They have the ability to connect to Geoforce Now which gives you access to a load of console/PC level games with you streaming from the tablet (free for 3 months then I think £7.50 a month)
4. To get the best out of that you really need a controller (Xbox like) which are damn expensive (£35 off eBay, £50 from Nvidia)
5. They are quite hefty; this is no Galaxy Tab S....it feels like a very solid chunky tablet...moreso if you put it in a front/back case.
6. The Nvidia case (front protection only) is pretty classy and hooks in via magnet.
7. Wifi range is great: never had any problems
8. Hooks up to the telly via mini HDMI cable, and it's pretty impressive thinking you've got a totally portable console you can play two player games on the go with. I do steal them when staying away with work :-)
9. They run kodi like a champ...and things like Showbox and Mobdro. I regularly hook one of ours up to the TV to have a movie night with the family.
10. There were problems with a previous incarnation of this: but from personal experience they're fixed.

OK so if my Internet is broken then why did it work fine using the moonlight app?
You clearly don't have a clue what your talking about and swallowed the nvidia lies and joinedthe fan boy cult.
The build quality is shocking, come back in 6-9 months and let me know if your still singing nvidias praises.
Plenty of better similar priced tablets out there, again more nonsense spoken by a typical shield fan boy.
If it's so great why are they not bothering with a shield 2?

I don't usually comment on this website, but I have to at the sight of this guy's constant love of the word "fanboy". Like a great tablet like this doesn't make you a fanboy, it makes you clever. the Nvidia shield K1 is one of the greatest tablets I've ever used.
The issues you've had while streaming are due to your internet connection, no matter how good, I'm not quite sure how on earth an update can physically blow your speakers up, so to me, that's absolute nonsense. The first generation shield was known to be bad, that's correct, but this is the second gen, and this is an absolute belter.
I got mine for £150 free P&P in March this year, I could not of asked for a better tablet, the battery life is so-so, but then again show me a piece of tech these days that the batter doesn't die quickly on, and prove it. The speed on the tablet is exceptional and in some cases proves faster than my dell latitude which is a year old.
To anyone who's interested, check out the forums, check reviews, and so on. Yes it's heavy, yes it's battery life isn't the best, but it's highly customized so you can help the battery life out. Gaming is depending on your internet, don't try to stream games if you have poor internet that you wouldn't be able to game on using a PS4/XONE. But these are a wonderful bit of tech, and they really should be double the price for how good they are.

this is a great deal, considering I own a nexus 7 2013 since release and it is going strong and on 6.0.1 don't really game on it any more but regularly use it for browsing, plex, youtube etc. Average ram usage 54% so even with 2 GB ram it still performs well and so should the K1 . can't bring myself so buy this just yet though but could do with the better CPU GPU and 8inch screen.

If your gonna buy a Android tablet this year you might aswell buy the most up to date in hardware and software tablet while in great price which is the Samsung Tab A 10.
Up to date specs and 14nm processor etc superb battery life consumption and great performance.
The Nvidia shield hardware etc is 2 years old and its battery consumption is terrible, very poor battery life especially which many users complained about in Nvidia forums etc

This is a superb tablet, I managed to grab one from ebuyer a few months back. I've completed half life 2 and episode one on it, plays superb. Currently playing latest tomb raider through GeForce now. For the money and power you get, it can't be beaten. It does get very hot playing half life but I use a game pad clipped to the sheild so don't actually hold it. Battery when playing half life lasts maybe an hour but that's more than enough for me on a small screen.

Released in 2015, however nvidia pulled it because of battery issues. They fixed and made it available in 2016, no difference in spec. I have one quite heavy, battery life not the best and it has stupid tiny little on/off button. Quite a quick tablet with decent sound(and positioned properly) and a good 1080p screen.

i also have and nvidia tablet and its an absolute beast. sure the battery isnt great but thats to be expected when you are harnessing such cpu and gpu power. the screen is very clear and it can handle anything you throw at it with ease.
If my son is playing one of his games the battery lasts about 3 hrs, but if I'm browsing the web with some youtube thrown in the battery lasts 5hrs and thats more than enough for 1 evenings viewing before puting it back on charge for the next time you need to use it.

Sorry for disappearing and thanks to those answering questions in the thread. Yes as the first post explains you have to use that link, HUKD alters deal links to use their affiliate referral.
On the comments on the tablet itself, honestly I cannot comment as I haven't received mine yet. a friend has one and is very happy, apparently there were lots of issues initially but support has been good (nvidia don't sell all that many android products after all). Including marshmallow.
personally I bought it because most cheap tablets have terrible screens and/or processing power which this does not, so IMO it is decent value, even though it is not 2016 hardware. I'm pretty sure it wasn't 149 at release either, my understanding was thay they dropped it significantly as it wasn't selling in large numbers. It would be nice if nvidia released the updated version they had in the pipeline but I gather that may have been canned.

This is years ahead of other tablets. What people are forgetting is the internal chip, what's an incredible piece of kit. To put it into perspective, you can run the dolphin emulator, allowing you to play gamecube and wii games on it. Of course most phones and tabs will run game boy/n64 gen games, but the gamecube gen is the tough one, and it achieves it.
Also, this is the rumored chip the nintendo Nx will use, essentially, go on YouTube, check out zelda breath of the wild. And that's what this chip can run, somewhere between a wii u and a xbox one.
Basically, the tech is just fantastic.
