I thought Murdered: Soul Suspect was really good. Loved it on PS4 when I got it cheap so looking forward to playing it again. Was disappointed with Airtight Games closing as I would have liked to see another game being made.

Far Cry Blood Dragon is awesome - very nearly bought it a few times so I'm happy with that.
Monkey Island though.... a 7 year old version of a game that's almost 30 years old!

The age(s) don't matter. The original game is acclaimed for its humour, an aspect which stands with few rivals to this day. Set that among gameplay with interesting puzzles and a balanced difficulty and you have a title ripe for an update. The special edition hasn't fallen down on any of its promises in the meantime either, with highlights being the added voice acting, hint system, comfortable modern visuals, achievements, and the ability to play it on two generations of xbox, at least one of which you're probably still using.
I've got Murdered: Soul Suspect on PC; great storyline, been looking to get it on Xbox.
Monkey Island: Nuff said.
Blood Dragon: Not played it, looking forward to it though.

I liked Murdered: Soul Suspect. It's not great and definitely has some rough edges, but it is an interesting enough story. Monkey Island is awesome. Intrigued by FC: Blood Dragon... Not a bad month at all.

Entirely subject, but I absolutely love all the Monkey Island (save for the 3D one, that was awful), and Broken Sword games. I backed the most recent Broken Sword on Kickstarter and really enjoyed the final product. part nostalgia, part good writing, voice acting, puzzling (?) and storytelling.

Murdered Suspect is actually an enjoyable game, different from a game most would normally play. Monkey Island a classic and love the remake/retro option. Blood Dragon okay and Super Dungeon Bros looks interesting. Who hasn't already played Red Dead etc, better to get games you wouldn't normally buy! Variety is a good thing.

Starting to wonder if it's worth buying the "maybe" games when they go on sale, they always seem to end up being given free within the next couple of months. Most end up being added to the backlog with no urgency to play them and then when they end up free I wonder if I should have saved the balance for DLC. The same games always seem to have a habit of ending up on sale too, so if missed they will usually come around again, just maybe not at the same price.
I would say I'm going to ignore sales and only buy if I wanna play NOW but I've already got mostly all the games I'd wanna play on 360 grrr... lessons learned for One then! :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm not sure when it changed but you can just download the XB360 Gold games on your Xbox One. Just go to the Games with Gold section on the console and press "Get". I used to go through the website but this is much easier.

Xbox one S is my first ever Xbox and other than playing original Halo through till the end on my Brother Inlaws Xbox I have never played or looked into any other game on the console.
I bought the Xbox One S because it was cheap and Sea of thieves looks awesome.

Probably a dumb question, new to this xbox thing. I have an xbox one, will far cry etc be playable on it? I'm guessing 'yes' as fable 3 is available (the only game I got when wife had an 360), but seeing how MS have changed the rules on live (no keeping games after expiry etc) I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't the case.

You can keep the Xbox 360 backwards compatible games after your Live subscription has expired. It's only the XBOne titles that you lose.

Good month to be fair. Soul Suspect looks good and was quite interested in it, but mainly play gold games instead of buying. So nice one for me. Good memories with Monkey Island and definitely appreciate. FarCry is FarCry. Will do. Only played the very first one on my PC and don't mind to give this a go. Heat.
